Janelle does a great job, but I appreciate she will also give you advice if you’re asking to do something that might harm your hair or be difficult to manage. The ladies there are very personable and the salon is always clean and orderly. I’ve always had a wonderful experience and have been going to see Janelle for years since I moved here. She was recommended because of the wonderful head massage during shampoo. I do cut, style, foil color and never had an issue, but I’m confident it will be addressed if I did.

Been coming here for a few years now. Also friendly happy staff and a great haircut. I never like standing in lines like at the other mainstream franchises to be treated like a number with a different hairdresser each time. I come here because I don’t have to say what I want done, it is the ‘usual’ as they know me. A much better experience and never a bad haircut.

I went here and had my hair highlighted, which is a pretty simple procedure and it was totally ruined, I walked out with orange hair on top and brown hair on the bottom, they refused to fix it without charging. I feel like they were totally unreasonable. Also the manager of the place backs up her employees over her customers even when they are wrong. I would never come here again.

It was ok. And I loved it, but i wanted to dye my hair blue and i had dyed the tips befor so they were already bleached but they said they needed my hair to be white to make the blue color about 3 hours later my hair was brown yellow and they still dyed it blue but it was uneven a lot. So my end result i like it but not if you want all the same color after touve dyed the tips.

I went there and as soon as I walked in I knew it would be bad the girl who did my hair did not keep good care of her own and was not good at communicating. I wanted my hair bleached but she died it yellow. I looked like I had a lemon on my head! The whole time my eyes and nose were stinging with the overwhelming smell of bleach. She toned it and there was a straight line by the roots where she died it the top was brown and bottom was light blonde. As soon as I got outside I started crying DO NOT GO TO HIP SALON!!!!!

Melissa does not know how to dye hair blonde. I asked her to dye my hair blonde with some roots. My hair was brown on top and blue on bottom. It has been about 2 months since I dyed my hair last so it was pretty washed out. When she dyed my hair the blue became green and my roots became yellow and she was going to let me leave like that until the owner came over and told her to bleach it again. The second bleach came out a little better the blue turned pastel but my roots were still yellow. I understand the blue could not come out but yellow hair cmon???
