Derrick messed up my hair. He asked me what kind of haircut I wanted and I showed him a picture of MY OWN haircut from the past with a different barber as being EXACTLY what I wanted. After barely looking at it he immediately began rushing the haircut (took him only 25 minutes, I’ve never had a cut that fast before) which I knew was a bad sign. Once he finished the cut and showed me the mirror, I realized he pushed my hairline back far higher than what I showed him in the picture of my hair. I would never go back here or to Derrick ever again.

Recently I was looking for an emergency haircut for the holidays. I found this barbershop via instagram and was looking forward to checking it out. Unfortunately my experience did not match my expectations. Derrick was the barber that cut my hair, he was very unprofessional. Upon me arriving his demeanor was as if he didn’t want to cut hair or be there. He rushed through my haircut and butchered it. It usually takes 45 min to an hour to do my hair and beard, he had me out of his chair in 15 minutes. It’d be one thing If the haircut came out good but there was a lot of mistakes. He ruined my hair shape, pushed my hairline back and didn’t use a straight razor to finish the cut. I will NEVER go back to Derrick or this barbershop. He charges 50 dollars for “haircut and beard” thats a robbery considering the service and quality he offers.

I used to go to those chain shops with high turnovers staff and had a different cut every time. I’ve found my new barber. I’ve been back 4 times and will continue to use Himc. I’ve never been complimented for my haircuts till now. Easy to schedule and was willing to reschedule when I had a conflict. My new go to barber weather you need a trim, lineup, beard cleaned Definitely recommend!!!

Bad experience. Arrived 5 minutes late for my 2:30 appointment and my Barber was not there, he had left for lunch. I guess there is no grace period for a haircut. No control over traffic. The Barbers for men and boys, maybe not. Men have patience and wait, boys have no patience and leave. A# thanks for wasting my time.
