Even when I’m getting my own hair done I find myself invested in what other people are having done because every artist is incredibly talented.Gaby Z colors my hair like a goddess. She took my mousey blonde locks and turned me into the blonde bombshell I’ve always envisioned myself as. She even gave this suburban mom the confidence to throw some purple in her hair.Caro cuts my curly locks like no one I’ve ever found. Anyone with curly hair knows how unbelievably important it is to have someone who understands curls trim your tresses. The first time she attacked my mane I just told her “Stevie Nicks”, she ran with it and I am now the 70s queen I’ve always wanted to be.Basically – 10/10. Salon has a very relaxed and welcoming vibe. Everything is clean. Everyone is professional. I’ve had bayalage done by other stylists and they NEVER have nailed it like Kat does and with minimal damage! She’s funny and personable and think she is a huge asset to the salon. I have super thick, curly hair and have never been a fan of it, and stylists often don’t know what to do with it, but Caro’s knowledge combined with her mastery of hair cutting yielded a fun result that brought my curls back to life. The first thing she asked when I sat in her chair was, “So what are you looking to get out of this cut?” She took my wants and needs into consideration right off the bat, and was extremely reassuring throughout the whole process. As she cut and styled my hair, she gave me tips for styling and guidance for upkeep at home. When I asked her for a specific pattern to shave into my undercut, she nailed it without any hesitation – and it looks insanely awesome! Then I found Betsi! She is THE sweetest, most nice, chill, understanding, and collaborative stylist I’ve ever had before. I showed pictures of what I wanted and she gave suggestions for what would be best with what I was looking for and was so helpful in this nerve wracking process. She is also SO dedicated. The first time I got it done, we had to bleach my hair 2 times, then apply the color. I have very thick, long, dark hair and it took her 10 HOURS to do it. She stayed so much later than she had to and was determined to get me what I wanted. She took my hair from a very dark brown to a bright vivid purple and it looked absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond and is always willing to help whether its asking questions and suggestions during the appointment or even a quick question when you message her on instagram. Btw, I’ve never left a review for a business before but I love this salon and their artists so much that I had to give them one, it’s very well deserved. It was my first time doing a large portion of my hair a vivid color so I was nervous and wanted to find the best stylist I could to help bring my vision to life. Then I found Betsi! She is THE sweetest, most nice, chill, understanding, and collaborative stylist I’ve ever had before.
