Went to Janis hoping to have more of my blonde pop out (she was my 2nd person here in Idaho). She suggested color correction and based off the photos on her IG account I trusted her knowledge and experience. Well, the following is what happened, my hair was stripped and it looked worse than it did before I went in. I showed her pictures and told that I did not want my hair to look red or brassy. Immediately after our session I asked her why my hair looked Orange. I did not like the orange in it and she replied that next time we would do something different and that hair is a process. I understand that achieving results is a process and thought I’d feel different about it the next day, I didn’t. So, I woke up and sent her a message requesting for her to fix it. Her response is that she would do so for a fee. I asked her why she would charge me to fix it if I specifically told her that my hair was Orange and I didn’t want it that color. She continued to say that my hair looked much better and that she wasn’t the one who ruined my hair in the 1st place and that my hair now had integrity (I never cared about the health of it, I wanted it ashy not Orange). She proceeded to say that she couldn’t provide a free redo… and the thing is that I wasn’t asking for a redo, I was asking her to get rid of the Orange in my hair. The only thing I LOVE about my hair is the cut and way it feels, I can’t stand the Orange color.
