I’ve tried multiple salons around NYC and Brooklyn over the past years that didn’t really do what I wanted but High Horse did it! Im so happy I found it. I absolutely love my cut and going for trims. They listen and make sure you leave happy. Now my boyfriend goes too and got a cut he loves! I definitely recommend High Horse Salon.

I was a client at Havemeyer and while there I had to cases change stylist with turnover I feel I was always satisfied w the options and the vibe of the salon. I can’t say exact the same w the new location and the sort of merger w the barber shop – now they split prices btw Jr and Sr stylist (which wasn’t the case, and they advertised on that) and my stylist also left and it’s been insanely hard to find appointments that work for corporate working hours. I feel time to move on maybe.

Mars is simply the most talented hair stylist I’ve ever encountered and so fun to talk to. She corrected a really bad bleach job and my hair has never looked better. Also, please don’t be alarmed, she looks exactly like Brittany Murphy reincarnate (lol). Great experience and relatively reasonable price for how long of a process it was. I’ve certainly paid a lot more for bleach/toning. Wished I still lived in New York, she would be my forever go-to. Considering saving my dye jobs for when I come back to visit just so I can see her!

Kitty continues to give me the best haircut of my life every time I come in! She gives me a razor cut and 70s shaggy waves. I didn’t even know I had curly/wavy hair and she recommended a great and low maintenance routine for me and my hair continues to look great even after my cut. High horse salon is also incredible it has a speak easy vibe and on a beautiful street in Williamsburg. Everyone was nice and everything was sanitized before and after.
