Positive: QualityI went here after purchasing a groupon and I so happy I did. The Salon was clean and had great parking. The ladies in the salon were all professional, friendly, and knew how to make everyone feel comfortable. My stylist was Keyleigh. She is beyond talented at color, she is board certified and all around master at her craft. She was lovely to chat with and she made me feel beautiful and confident walking out of that salon. I went here after purchasing a groupon and I so happy I did. The Salon was clean and had great parking. The ladies in the salon were all professional, friendly, and knew how to make everyone feel comfortable. My stylist was Keyleigh. She is beyond talented at color, she is board certified and all around master at her craft. She was lovely to chat with and she made me feel beautiful and confident walking out of that salon. Positive: ProfessionalismI’ve been going to Hidden Oasis for more than 4 years – and now the rest of my family goes as well. We love the staff, are thrilled they use Aveda products, and the result is always great. I usually do a color and cut, and have really enjoyed the results every time. Critical: ProfessionalismSooooo…I never write reviews, but this time I felt it necessary. I’ve had facials since I was in my teens. I’m no stranger to them. But this was probably the worst one.So my sister gifted me a facial from Groupon for my anniversary. Back in January. Super excited…its been a while as you can imagine. Well I called to schedule it, and the gentleman that returned my call was super nice, very friendly and let me know that he did not work with the skin side but that the esthetician would talk to me about my concerns, troubles, etc.So I was super hopeful and went in wanting to really like this place since its super close to my home as well.Cut to today, my facial. I walk in, salon is very nice, and the lady at the front desk all hidden says “How can I help you?”I say “Hello, I’m here for my 2:15 appointment.”She says “For laser??”I say: “No for a facial from Groupon.”From there her reaction immediately shifts. She’s like “well what kind is it…??” I’m trying to explain to her that the Groupon, little coupon that my sister cut out and put in my card said “One 60-min Aveda Signature Facial OR 45-min radiance facial with IPL” She said ” no because one is more expensive than the other.” So I was like “ok, I’ll do the Aveda one.”She then says “ok wait here.”I didn’t know that SHE was the esthetician! She did not introduce herself (still don’t know her name) & she didn’t even ask me MY name.Came back said ” ok I’m ready for you.”Went into the room and asked me…”have you every had an Aveda facial? Have you ever had a facial?”BUT DID NOT ASK ME: What are your concerns? Are you sensative to anything? NOTHINGGGGGGGThen she’s like “Ok, lay on the bed, I’m going to look at your skin.”Again doesn’t say a peep. Doesn’t say “OH I see you have dryness or this or that.” NADAAAAAASo looks at my skin and goes straight into the facial. Doesn’t tell me what’s she’s putting on my face, what ingredients are in it, what its supposed to help with!!!!!!…SILENCE!I tried prompting her into telling me…by asking “So is this a cleanser???”And she’s like “yes, its a cleanser. “The customer service was terrible. Like I get it I was gifted a Groupon, but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t treat me like a brand new client. I want to say its the anti-social side effect from the pandemic…but this is supposed to be a customer service business, and honestly instead of feeling like I was being taken care of by a professional esthetician, it just felt like a random stranger touching my face…..and for that NEVER AGAIN.The facial itself was alright (except for one mask that kinda stung)….but why would I come back to place that doesn’t even make you feel welcome…Sooooo…I never write reviews, but this time I felt it necessary.
