After making my appointment as a first time costumer, it was an awesome experience. The salon was very calming and relaxing and I was in-and-out in no time, which is not the norm, my hair is VERY full and I felt like the flyest woman out of Fortaysha’s chair. My appt with Fortaysha was phenomenal!!! Since I have alopecia, thinning edges and a tender scalp, I took a couple years off from getting sew in so clearly I was very nervous about getting one. Plus I experienced several disappointments in the past when it came to sew ins. So I decided to give Fortaysha a try and I am so glad that I did! I appreciate that she truly cares for the health of my hair just as much as she focuses on achieving a beautiful style. Some hairdressers say hair care, but they do not care at all. Fortaysha cares; my install was PAIN FREE. She kindly checked on my comfort level every step of the way to ensure that that I had a comfortable yet secure install. She truly understands that a quality install should NOT be painful or cause tension on the hair. That is so important for Alopecia patients or anyone for that matter. I also appreciate that she was patient with all my questions and she asked questions as well. The communication between client and stylist was on point! Overall, I cannot say enough about this talented young lady. She turned my nervousness into relief. If you are looking for a passionate hairstylist who does quality work, has a creative eye, truly CARES for your hair, runs a Professional business, communicates well, and all for a good value, then please take my word and book your appointment with Fortaysha. Ms. Roscoe, actually saw me on a Sunday at 7am! Business has been booming so she came in early to accommodate her clients. She arrived 15 minutes early at 6:45am… I didn’t even have to wait 5 minutes for her to begin… yes ladies I was in and out in about an hour… and my bob was perfectly done. Her shop is relaxing and she is very professional. Check her out… I drove 2 hours to finally sit in her seat.. I’ll be back soon.
