I wanted to give this place another shot before rating it poorly but unfortunately their quality continues to decline. I paid $140 plus tax and tip for only a 35 min facial where they only cleansed, put a mask on, then put on moisturizer. The other time was spent just sitting there in the chair talking to the facialist (who was sweet to be fair!) Unfortunately it was not worth the money to do a basic skincare routine I could have easily done from home.

I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment and the Esthetician began 15 minutes later than my scheduled appointment time – which was originally 5PM, but actually began at 5:15. When she asked what I wanted to fixate on, I mentioned pore extraction on top of agreeing to an extra 80 dollar service of microdermabrasion. Not only did she end at 5:50 (giving me 35 minutes of actual appointment time) but there was barely any pore extraction executed, and she seemed very non-present during the entire facial. I have been to another heyday location before and felt extremely taken care of. For nearly 300 dollars spent I am thoroughly disappointed that it felt very rushed and now I will need to go to another institution for actual pore extraction.

Heyday used to be really wonderful– pain-free facials, decent price, no pressure about upselling. That seems to have gone out the window, my last few visits have just been the aesthetician and front desk pressuring me about memberships and add-ons. This past time I was given a big upsell without even knowing it and was hit with a bill at the end around 2-3x what the facial used to cost. Sad to see another great company get so greedy but I won’t be back!

This was my first time getting a facial and I absolutely loved everything about it including the experience and the Noho location itself. I personally don’t like medical-like environments or feeling like I’m in a tiny room in someone’s home, but the Noho location truly felt spa-like and like a mini get away from the city. My esthetician Julia explained each step and the benefits. She was genuinely knowledgable about the benefits of each serum/steps and gave me great skin technique tips! Overall will definitely be coming back for their relaxing facials.

I have been loyal to heyday and specifically Noho branch for a while now. But they really seem to have dropped the ball recently. My last visit was horrible. I advised the esthetician I used retinol 2 days ago, and she insisted the product she was using would not hurt my skin. She did ask me how my skin was doing. I was it’s burning. Needless to say, I left the place with my face itching and red and feeling acidic.
