I am very particular on how I like my French gel manicure done and Angell (the store owner) is very accommodating. I have also been helped by her sister and colleague, Cindy, who is also very talented and listens to particular requests.I would recommend this salon above all others in Rochester due to their cleanliness and overall feel both while I’m there and after I leave. I very much appreciate that for pedicures, a new liner is placed in the ‘tub’ before each client soaks their feet. Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueI came to Rochester dpw the Mayo Clinic and wanted to relax so i was looking forward to a pedicure and nails. Lily did my nails and asked what length. I said medium. The nails were short and crooked. I kept pointing out that they were not even the same length and and crooked she said she would fix but didn’t. Never have my nails looked like short stubby toe nails. I had to pay 145 to leave disappointed. I came to Rochester dpw the Mayo Clinic and wanted to relax so i was looking forward to a pedicure and nails. Lily did my nails and asked what length. I said medium. The nails were short and crooked. I kept pointing out that they were not even the same length and and crooked she said she would fix but didn’t. Never have my nails looked like short stubby toe nails. I had to pay 145 to leave disappointed. I can’t wait to get back home and have someone do my nails that was actually trained and licensed.

The place was clean, but also had almost no one there in the middle of the day. Had one other person getting services done. Didn’t offer anything to drink during my services. The lady doing my toes cut me and didn’t apologize, didn’t speak English. The girl that did my fingers did a good job but wasn’t all that friendly. There was a kid ( salon workers kid) running around screaming. Then at check out they wanted cash not card, but reluctantly accepted it anyways. It cost over $120 for manicure and pedicure. Definitely won’t be back, the experience was not worth that price tag.

Was very disappointed. My sister & I went for pedicures & my sister’s got started first. Once somebody started mine, she kept asking multiple times if I wanted to get gel after I told her no. She then rushed my pedicure & I ended up finishing before my sister.. whose pedicure was started at least 5-10 minutes before mine.. We then sat & dried for about 30 minutes. A woman checked the polish & told me it was dry. I put on my shoes & once I got home I found that the polish had smudged on half of my toes.. I also had polish on my skin on a couple toes. They were not filed properly either because once I got home, I put a blanket on my lap & one of my toenails got caught on it… I am very disappointed & will not be returning.

I love the options that this salon has for pedicures which is why I come here. I usually like a more lux pedicure. Everytime I come, I am asked at least 10 times to put gel on my toes or to do something more expensive. I always say no as I usually spend a lot of money here anyways, but it never fails that I am pushed into spending more. I understand asking once, but any more than that is an annoyance to the customers.
