My son has fought me on getting a haircut as the barber we were seeing is a three hour drive from us. I needed something closer to us and we found this spot for him, reviews were accurate. We got an appointment with Lewis for today, he was very happy with his cut. He said we’re coming back in 4-5 weeks. They welcomed us all in (me, my husband, my toddler). Lewis was amazing, he made sure the cut was exactly what my son wanted. We also got clarification on a kids cut for our little boy. There was a great vibe and enjoyed the conversation throughout (one of the barbers is from Cali, just like us)! We’ll be back again for sure! Thank you!

I decided to try Henchman House when I began having difficulty booking appointments at my usual barbershops. Fantastic service and attention to detail. Rather than making me feel like their main goal was customer rotation, the staff kept asking if they could do more detailed work. I approved and by the time I left they spent a full hour on haircut, beard trim, and eye brows. Best scissor and straight razor skills I have seen and I have tried most of the large, similarly priced barbershops around town. My new regular barbershop!

The Henchmen House barbershop is probably one of the best and most professional barbershops I’ve ever been to. I booked the executive option and it was nothing short of exactly what the name suggests, they are 1 on 1 with you and what you want exactly. I was running late that day because i ran into a major traffic jam and I called them telling them I was running late Austin who cut my hair told me that it wasn’t an issue and when I got there 15 mins late he got me right in, he made it a non-issue like it was going just as planned. I would absolutely go here again and get my haircut. Thank you to henchmen house for making my wedding a great day and making me look sharp.

Andrew brings a professionalism that is unmatched while he gives you your haircut! Great conversation pandering back in forth, very knowledgeable on current events. The atmosphere is old school from the chairs to the hot towel shaves! Background music can range anywheres from hip-hop to 90’s RNB. I’m going back!!!

This was my first time using the Henchmen’s House. All I can say is that it will not be my last! Adam was amazing. He was incredibly friendly and professional, but still able to joke around with me. He was able to tame my grizzly beard and have me looking like a 10.

This is the best barbershop in Grand Rapids. I recently moved from Pittsburgh and was trying to find a good shop and landed here. It is by far the best shop I have been to in the area. Do not be skeptical of all the 5 star reviews, they are legit. Tom, Dom, and Ryan have cut my hair. Each has done a great job. The price is good too! You will feel great giving them a tip.
