Critical: Quality, ValueI was a first time customer at Helen’s Nails last week, and came in for an acrylic set but Helen convinced me to try dip powder, which I hadn’t before. I got them done and was really impressed with how they looked (despite being $60 ), but since 5 days ago I’ve had two nails break when they shouldn’t have. Yesterday one broke while I was just simply opening a drawer, and I went in and they did fix it for me (at a charge) so I thought maybe it was my fault or just a fluke. But then again today one broke while I was literally just opening the fridge. For the amount of money I paid to have them done, they shouldn’t be this breakable. I was a first time customer at Helen’s Nails last week, and came in for an acrylic set but Helen convinced me to try dip powder, which I hadn’t before. I got them done and was really impressed with how they looked (despite being $60 ), but since 5 days ago I’ve had two nails break when they shouldn’t have. This is by far the only place in Keene I will let touch my nails not only do they care about how they look in the end but they care about the health of your nail as well. They educated me on new techniques but reiterated that they were not pressuring. I am looking forward to that process in the future! They were so nice. Loved that I made same day appointment but would wait in the future if needed. Very nice staff and the owner went above and beyond. Even the people there getting services were so nice. Highly recommend this salon. First time experience here after less than impressed results from another local busy salon. They educated me on new techniques but reiterated that they were not pressuring. I am looking forward to that process in the future! They were so nice. Loved that I made same day appointment but would wait in the future if needed. Very nice staff and the owner went above and beyond. Even the people there getting services were so nice. Highly recommend this salon. Great first impressions!

Critical: ValueI came in to get a simple gel manicure. It was quite expensive ($35 without a tip) and less than 3 days later the gel polish was starting to lift on all of my nails. It was sticky and peeling completely. I came in to ask them to redo them (because they are supposed to last 2 weeks, and the woman who did my nails obviously didn’t allow them to cure for long enough) and they refused. I came in to get a simple gel manicure. It was quite expensive ($35 without a tip) and less than 3 days later the gel polish was starting to lift on all of my nails. It was sticky and peeling completely.
