Dr Heibel and staff have been great to work with. I’ve been seeing Dr Heibel for over 20 years and he and his staff have been very professional and thorough in checking me over due to my skin cancer issues. I have regular checks 2x/yr and just saw him a couple months ago, but since then I had another spot pop up. I live in Omaha but happen to be in town so I just stopped by to see if I could get a quick look. Fortunately they were able to accommodate and squeeze me in. Dr Heibel has been my dermatologist for around 8 years. I originally went to him with skin cancer on my face. He used the Mohs technique to remove it and stitched it up so perfectly that you can’t see the scar unless you know it’s there. Since then, I’ve continued to see Dr Heibel on a yearly basis and have always been extremely satisfied with the service I’ve received from him, his nursing staff and front desk personnel.

I have seen Dr. Heibel for a couple of visits. Dr. Heibel is very nice, the staff is very nice, but unless you have serious “skin emergencies” your wait for an appointment is 6 months. I called in July trying to schedule an appointment for October before we left the state for the winter. I was told the earliest they could see me would be January. I am hurt and disappointed. My prescription expires in October, so I need to make other arrangements for my care.

We had a bad experience in an emergency setting with a mis-diagnosis by a different Dr. and then went to Dr. Heibel and he diagnosed it right away.
