I found Hector’s Salon #2 because I had a Groupon for a cut and partial highlight. When I arrived, Johanna was available so she took care of me. She did an amazing job! I really appreciate her because my hair is super long and I had a balayage a year ago that had grown out, so she had to touch up my highlights instead of working with virgin hair. She was very kind about the extra hassle and was even willing to take some extra time to give me a shadow root. I definitely recommend Johanna because she works very quickly but is also very thorough. She didn’t cut any corners and I definitely felt like I was in the hands of an expert.

Do not come here for highlights!!! They completely fried my hair and for some reason they put permanent red dye on my roots. They used too much toner and my hair came out as grey. I showed them a picture of how I wanted my hair to look before the appointment and they assured me it was something they could do. It was clearly out of their abilities, I would have preferred if they just told me to go somewhere else. I have had to go to another salon twice since my highlights to fix what they did. While they were very nice, they ruined my hair.

Very friendly staff, Martha was very helpful and took extra care to make sure the hairstyle was exactly to my liking. I’m usually anxious when asking to cut more or other modifications but this was such a calm comforting environment! I will definitely be coming back regularly.

I learned about this place through Groupon 2 years ago and never stop going to Karine ever since. I now consider her my fixed “hair artist”! Not only is she very friendly and accommodating but she spends time perfecting every detail of her Masterpiece. So far I’ve had her do balayage, highlights, Brazilian and a keratin treatment on my hair & walked out with a big smile on my face every single time! Johanna is the best! She was so patience, professional and hard working! She took care of my hair like it was her own. She did everything so it wouldn’t get damage and she listen to all my concerns and took care of them. She did a wonderful job and went for more than the extra mile!
