I have gone to Heather twice and will keep coming back!! After trying out several different electrologists around the Twin Cities, Heather is by far my favorite. She is professional, knowledgeable, and sure of herself, and helped educate me on the process. Her 20-something years of experience DEFINITELY show in her work. She’s quick yet precise and thorough, and covers a large area in a short time. So far, I’ve had lasting results! A huge problem I had with electrolysis before was the excruciating pain getting my upper lip and chin done, but Heather uses a heavy-duty numbing cream that helps tremendously in most areas!!! Her office is so clean, aesthetically-appealing, and clutter-free. The space is very welcoming, inviting, spacious, and minimalistic, and I feel so at-ease. She is kind and relatable and chats with me through the sessions — which offers a good distraction from discomfort — but isn’t overly talkative and still focuses on the work. I did notice at first Heather’s prices are higher than what I’ve seen, but she is WELL-WORTH every cent and it evens out because she gets more done in less time! Plus, she’s the only electrologist close to where I live in St. Louis Park. Can’t recommend Heather more!!!!

If I could give Heather more stars, I would. She put me at ease, walked me through the protocol, and did a fantastic job. I’m looking forward to more appointments on my journey to permanent hair removal. If you’re reading this and researching the process, this is the place to land. She offers numbing cream for sensitive areas, but it isn’t necessary for what I needed and the pain is nothing more than a tiny shock. Totally doable. I’m in and out in ten minutes. I highly recommend jumping in! So glad I did.

I held off on writing a review because I wanted to have lots of experience under my belt before making a decision. I’ve been a client of Heather Marks’ for about 7 months of near-weekly appointments and I have to say I am IMPRESSED. Heather has always been professional and friendly. The room is always clean and set to a comfortable temperature. She has always been on time and never had to reschedule an appointment. I am seeing great results and my hair removal is progressing as she said it would. I wasnt sold a miracle overnight hair removal story. She told me EXACTLY how it worked and gave me real expectations for the timeline of my procedure. Her pricing is in touch with other electrolysis locations, maybe even less than others. As for the electrolysis itself: does it hurt? Kinda. It’s not my idea of a good time but it is bearable. Depending upon the location the pain levels vary from “can barely feel it at all” to “ooh that feels like it zapped all the way down my leg”. It’s never been a make-me-cry level of pain and I’ve never felt like my 45 minute session was too painful.
