Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityFrom the beginning, the business owner was extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly. After I paid, she completely caught me off guard – as I was reaching in my wallet to leave a cash tip – and accused me of not showering before entering the float tank and told me not to return. This was completely untrue. Not only did I shower before entering the tank itself – I showered before even arriving at the facility, then again after exiting the tank. She wouldn’t even hear it. She said she never heard the shower – I would suggest a checkup at Belltone. Not to mention, the tank water was brown and musty. Extremely unprofessional and ill-mannered. Don’t waste your time or money. There are better facilities with better customer service/interpersonal skills. She even texted wife who setup the appointment – even to her, she came off as a genuinely short-tempered and mean-spirited individual. I’m very baffled by the level of treatment and how she is able to sustain a customer base . As a social worker very involved in the community, I would NEVER suggest this place to any family I work with in Crawfordsville for alternative therapy. There is nothing remotely therapeutic or healing about the personnel. I went in expecting at least someone personable and friendly after a very long and tiring week, especially when I am paying – I would rate this place below Burger King. If you want to be degraded and treated like complete garbage by this troll, this is a great place to go. Not a great first experience with float therapy. I was very relaxed after leaving the tank and showering, but she ruined the entire experience. Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had a half body massage with cupping and hot towel therapy. This was the best massage I have ever had. I went because of pain in my neck, shoulders, lower back, and right hip. I am completely out of pain! Will definitely be going back.
