Working with Mai has been incredible! She has given me direction on what to do to revitalize my skin. A year ago, my skin was in a completely different place than it is today. She got me on a routine after hearing my goals and listening to what I was already doing. She makes recommendations but is never pushy with forcing you to do anything you’re not quite ready to try yet. Let me start off by saying that I have never seen an esthetician other than Mai, and I doubt I ever will. Heal Thy Skin was referred to me by a friend and after much deliberation I decided to get a consultation done. Upon meeting Mai I was very nervous, she’s extremely understanding and nonjudgmental in her dealings with me, being insecure in your skin can leave you feeling extremely vulnerable and her awareness of that truly makes the experience a wonderful one. Mai doesn’t “sell” any ideas of “perfect skin”; she’s a constant advocate for an overall healthy lifestyle (from food to sleep to your mental and physical health) and the care she displays is all to help you achieve the healthiest skin possible. She truly loves what she does and it shows, I’m so glad I decided to schedule that consultation almost two years ago now and will probably never not have her in my life—whether is a nice pamper session for my skin or a much needed intervention after a random flair up, Heal Thy Skin and the woman behind it are a much needed dose for the skin AND soul… 10 out of 10!
