Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI took my daughter here to get her hair cut. Originally when she said she wanted her hair cut, I was going to do it myself. When she showed me what she wanted I felt a lot of anxiety about doing it myself and possibly screwing it up since I never did a cut like that before. Her hair was down to her shoulders but she wanted the back and sides short and the top long enough to where it would go down to her lip if it was pulled in front of her face (I’ll post pictures). So I specifically looked for a barber shop since it is more of a man’s cut. I liked that Headlines (technically a barber shop AND a salon) had a lot of reviews and a high star rating so I felt I could trust them to give us something we wouldn’t walk away from crying from trauma (happened to me once at a salon). When I called I told the lady on the phone my daughter was basically looking for a man’s type of cut so she gave me one of the guys there, named Dan. We had a photo to show him that he could use for reference but like most hair photos, it only shows the front. So he had to imagine the rest. I felt MAYBE he would be nervous about giving her something she hated even if he did it right so I told him she has wigs, so if she hates it, she can wear a wig til it grows out lol. Anyways he did an AMAZING job. She absolutely LOVES her hair. I was slightly worried she might look weird with such a short haircut but honestly I think it looks better now. I asked him what the cost was and he said “$150”, I was actually going to pay him that! He laughed and told me the real price, which was much, MUCH lower (85% lower). He wasn’t sure what to charge at first since he never did a style like that involving so much hair coming off so I gave him a generous tip for all his work. I took my daughter here to get her hair cut. Originally when she said she wanted her hair cut, I was going to do it myself. When she showed me what she wanted I felt a lot of anxiety about doing it myself and possibly screwing it up since I never did a cut like that before.
