Julia is very friendly and pays close attention to detail. Her salon is welcoming and has a pleasing aesthetic. She gave me great hair maintenance tips and I never felt rushed. She has a very personalized-to-client approach. Going to see Julia at the salon is like going to see a friend.

I will start out by saying Julia is super friendly and the salon is very nice, but my color did not come out as I expected. I did have to leave before she could dry to see what the color was, so that’s on me. But I don’t think I would go back to have her fix it. I went in for a partial foil, but she did not come even close to the roots, it looks like I didn’t even have my hair done. The colors are also all over the place, and she did 2 separate coats of bleach which I have never have seen someone do before and now my hair is very dry. I do understand that I have a lot of hair, so it can be difficult.

This salon’s website is erroneously posted in apple maps alongside the listing for a salon with the same name in Dallas, TX. The website linked gives no indication that the salon isn’t located in Dallas, so i booked an appointment online and left a credit card number to hold the spot. When I received an email reminder the day of the appointment, the address was listed as New Hampshire. When I promptly called to explain the situation, the young lady was unaccommodating and rude and hung up on me. Now there’s a charge on my credit card for a haircut I obviously never received. A mistake was clearly made here, but it wasn’t mine. The salon of the same name here in Dallas was understanding, laughed about it, vowed to look into the erroneous listing and squeezed me in for a haircut today. If you need a stylist, i would highly recommend Head2Toe in Dallas, NOT this poorly run business in NH. I’d give it zero stars if that were an option.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI have been going to see Julia for my hair care needs for about a year now. I am so happy I found someone such as herself that provides over the top quality service and attention to detail ( very hard to come by). I get my eyebrows waxed and my hair done by her every 6 weeks and have had my hair colored. Excellent prices for the quality services that she offers. Worth every penny and I would recommend her services to anyone! You will not be disappointed and will leave looking and feeling great! I have been going to see Julia for my hair care needs for about a year now. I am so happy I found someone such as herself that provides over the top quality service and attention to detail ( very hard to come by). I get my eyebrows waxed and my hair done by her every 6 weeks and have had my hair colored. Excellent prices for the quality services that she offers. I love the Head 2 Toe salon. Julia is such an awesome person, besides being an extremely talented hair stylist. There is one flight of stairs to walk up, and there is no elevator. Excellent service & attention to detail is Julia’s specialty. I highly recommend this salon.

Excellent service, attention to detail and a great atmosphere. I’ve been seeing Julia at Head2Toe for 18 months. I get a Keratin Complex treatment, color and a cut/trim every 3 months. My appointments take hours (actually all day!), because Julia is meticulous about the processes, ensuring a great outcome. Keratin treatments are expensive and so many things can go wrong if not done by a talented stylist. I was traveling recently and couldn’t get back home for a treatment, so looked at reviews of other stylists in the cities where I was. None of them compared or came close to my experience at Head2Toe. I found a way to fly home just to see Julia and have her work her magic on my hair! My hair is so much healthier than it was before and I’m so happy to have found this jewel in little Newmarket.

Head to Toe Salon & Spa is clean, great atmosphere with friendly staff! I have my hair cut and colored with Julia. She is very attentive and knowledgable on her products and color. It is a full service salon but I have not had the opportunity to try any of there wonderful services yet. I would recommend Head to Toe Salon and Spa to anyone looking for a stylist that will truly take care of you during your visit. Just a side note: They do not allow small children in the salon at all for safety reasons so be aware of this prior to making your appointment.

In July I made an impulse decision to dye the bottom half of my curly, dark brown hair hot pink. I got an afternoon appointment with Julia and we walked me through how the process would work, helped me choose a color and spent 6 hours bleaching, dying and cutting my hair. She stayed until 10:30pm to do the whole job! Normally I dread awkward conversation at the salon, but it was actually quite enjoyable. It’s been almost 3 months and the dye is still incredibly vibrant. I just got my hair cut at another salon (couldn’t find time in my schedule when head2toe was open) and the stylist was super impressed with the quality of the dye job and how long it lasted. Definitely recommend Head2Toe for dye and cut!

Critical: Quality, ValueI can only speak for the services I received, which were a gel manicure with French tip and a pedicure w/o polish. The polish on the manicure was extremely uneven. When I initially sat down I stated that I was unsure about doing to the French due to the length of my nails, but was encouraged to continue with this add on service. Just a day later, the polish has already chipped/peeled on certain fingers due to it being on my skin as well as the nail. The polish job itself is extremely uneven both from nail to nail as well as from side to side on the individual nails. I just couldn’t bring myself to say anything when I was there as I have to assume they thought it looked good. As for the pedicure, I did not find it relaxing. The results were okay, but the setup of the service leaves something to be desired. My hair color was a little warm to begin with. She then decided to basically baliage my hair which would leave this warmth against the cool tone foils she lifted me to. Then left a block of blonde right in the front basically to my scalp. I DID NOT ask for that. Because of her choice technique wise she had me there for 7 hours. At the end, I then asked what she had the next day and she answered with, why what do you want? So I then felt bad about asking her to fix it because I was already there for 7 hours. ( This was Friday) she is closed Sunday and mondays and I obviously asked about Saturday and got the attitude. (Who would want to come if you feel unwanted?) I could tell she was frustrated and wanted to be done. So I left my hair for a couple of days and then just had to call her. Just got off of the phone with her. She was UNBELIEVABLY unprofessional. She basically defended herself instead of listening to me at all. I am a stylist and she decided to play that card on me. No, you didn’t do a great job and when I asked what you were doing the next day you answer with, why what do you want and attitude. That’s not even my major problem. It’s how unprofessional she was! She told me she was not going to refund me and hung up on me. I then called back, I said I have worked in plenty of high end salons and a client would never be treated this way. She told me once again that she was not going to refund me and yet again, hung up on me. I would never leave a review because I know how bad that can be but omg! This woman had me at awe with how unprofessional she was and how terrible of a business owner she is. If a stylist doesn’t do something that is desirable by the client it should always be fixed (not with an attitude) or another stylist fixes it if the client isn’t comfortable. Since she is the only stylist in the salon she should have refunded me at least half of the 300 (60 for the tip) or at least apologized and made me feel more comfortable. Terrible terrible business owner. Don’t go there if your not a regular of hers. I’m just appalled with her. I hate leaving reviews but for her to hang up on me twice and not he apologetic at all is unacceptable.So you guys don’t even want to know.
