Critical: Quality, ValueI WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I paid over 350$ for Keratin Treatment at this salon and it didn’t last me a month. I only used sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I went back after 4 weeks to show them how my hair was still frizzy and curly, and that I needed a fix or a refund. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I paid over 350$ for Keratin Treatment at this salon and it didn’t last me a month. I only used sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. They are way too expensive for someone like me, but I continue to patronize the business (once or twice a year) because of the quality of the work. I have been seeing two stylists all these years, that can only be described as masterful. I never worry about what I am going to get when I go in because those two ladies are so talented. They are both kind, polite, professional, and skilled. Check on the prices before you go, but If you get the chance, I highly recommend both Melanie and Melissa. I have been a customer at Head Quarters in Westlake for more than 15 years! They are way too expensive for someone like me, but I continue to patronize the business (once or twice a year) because of the quality of the work. I have been seeing two stylists all these years, that can only be described as masterful. I never worry about what I am going to get when I go in because those two ladies are so talented. I’ve seen Montana all three times and I can’t say enough about her friendliness, insight and professionalism.Switching to a new stylist is tough for me. My hair is super-long so my first two visits to HQ were just for trims. Now that summer is here and COVID is almost over I started thinking about getting a new, shorter hairstyle to wear back to the office. My hair is tricky. It’s somewhat curly, but the longer it gets, the more curl gets pulled out of it and it just looks wavy. This means I tend to be nervous and bossy with stylists when it comes to how much to cut off, because it bounces up higher than you think it would when it’s cut too short. I can’t help it: I’ve had a lot of stylists argue with me over this and have had a lot of teary-eyed, disappointing haircuts as a result.To my relief, Montana is super patient and put my worries at ease. She actually ASKED me what I was trying to achieve, and then LISTENED to my whining about cutting the layers too short (and she didn’t roll her eyes once, haha). To help me feel better, she took extra time to cut it in increments so that we could both see what was going on while it was being cut. Then she showed me how to use a flat iron the proper way so I could get the fullness I was looking for without having to go too short.The result is the best haircut I’ve had in over a decade. It feels great, looks healthy and I can’t wait to go back and see what other magic Montana can do for my hair! Thanks to Montana, I can walk past a mirror and love how my hair looks. This is my third visit to Head Quarters Salon. I think their salon is clean, smells great, is well-stocked with product and the staff is very efficient. They will even call and give me a reminder about my upcoming appointment, which I need because I tend to forget things if I don’t write them down. I’ve seen Montana all three times and I can’t say enough about her friendliness, insight and professionalism.

Molly took the time to do a free consult and explain what my hair needed and the steps required to get there. I could not be happier with the results – she is truly a hair wizard!! My hair looks and feels 1 million times healthier and prettier, exactly like the picture I showed her.Their staff is trained in the newest hair trends and stay up-to-date on their training (by taking regular classes on ombré/balayage/etc) and it shows.
