I came in with pretty light blonde hair that was still decently healthy and wanted some low lights to let my hair and wallet have a break. I showed an inspiration picture with a very big chunky money piece that I really wanted to keep it light around my face. The rest I just wanted my natural color for low lights to help with grow out. With the salon lighting I thought it looked great and hadn’t looked up close, until I got home and noticed that there was so many pieces that were splotchy that dye hadn’t even touched. Some parts of my hair looked like zebra striping. The next day I had coworkers even pointing it out. My roots matched my natural color and my ends were almost black. My ends are so dry and damaged now that it tangles within an hour of brushing and I can barely get a brush through it. The spots where my high lights were supposed to be brought up are just slightly lighter than my natural color and my barely there “money piece” just consists of breakage that wasn’t there before that sticks straight up. I’m a very nervous/anxious person but got the guts to call back to say I was unhappy with how my hair turned out. I never even got an apology or to talk to the stylist that did my hair. We were going to schedule for it to be fixed, but the stylist was going to be going on maternity leave soon and couldn’t fit me in, but was asked about going to another stylist. I was already nervous enough that my hair looked and felt the way it did and ended up not going because I don’t think my hair should go through any more processing right now. Plus being a single mom that doesn’t have a flexible work schedule or extra hours to spend at a salon. $225 out of my pocket. I recommended a friend to here and had the same thing happen to her as well. No refund offered, just processing her hair on 2-3 different occasions with no happy ending. Learned my lesson from her to not even bother asking for my money back.

I absolutely love Hazel & Rose salon! The staff is all so positive and professional, and treat me like they actually care for me! It is such an uplifting environment and Sarah is wonderful! I am so happy with the cut and color, the best!

I feel like the stylist I worked with did try her best but was not confident or supported the way she should have been. I got a cut and color but it was not the cut or color I showed the stylist. I was pulled back for my appointment on time. Staff was friendly. The owner was made aware at the end by the stylist that the look I asked for was not achieved. The women’s response was maybe we can get you there next time. I was given a 15% discount and sent on my way. I don’t think I’ll be back. I am new to the area and looking for my new hair home.

I wanted to love this place but left disappointed. I made my first appointment with a stylist I knew prior to her working at Hazel & Rose but she had to cancel last minute, which was no big deal. My appointment was rescheduled with someone that was recommended to me and my experience was not great. The appointment felt very rushed, I left with wet hair in the back and no styling service was offered to me aside from the blowout. There’s also a question of whether or not my hair is cut evenly. For $51 for a haircut I expected more than that. I will still give 3 stars because I know my original stylist Kayla is amazing!

I called to ask about getting my hair touched up since I had colored it pink. The woman I spoke to asked for details so I explained, very thoroughly, what I wanted and what I currently had. I was told an estimated price. Made appointment and went. The result looked great from the back; various colors of pink. The front looked too bright but wasn’t too horrible. When I checked out it was well over double the cost I was estimated. Its been about a month and the color is badly faded. The box color lasted so much longer, didn’t dry out/fry my hair and was loads cheaper. The stylist told me the box of color i used was horrible on hair.. my hair felt fine after coloring from a box whereas my hair feels stripped and brittle since going to the salon. I’ve never used this salon before and was not impressed. I will say that the stylist and some of the other women were really nice. They were very friendly. I’ll try to edit and upload photos later

Love this salon! My hair was badly damaged and completely messed up from another salon. I called Hazel+Rose and they let me come in for a free consultation on how they could help fix my hair and keep it healthy. They were very transparent on pricing and honest about what could be done. I made the appointment and couldn’t have been happier. My hair looked the way I wanted it to originally and has been super healthy! Since then I have loved coming here!

Absolutely love my highlights and cut done by Courtney. I was looking for a new place to get my hair done after recently moving to this area and I was given Hazel + Rose as a recommendation. I am so glad I went there and I will continue to go there. If you’re someone who can’t sit still for very long, Courtney is definitely your girl. She was super fast and very professional. Very fair pricing!
