Guy starts ✂️ ing my daughter’s hair and after he starts it,says he’s not familiar with working with this type of hair and ended up blotching her simple hair cut. If your not familiar with the type of hair don’t freaking start the cut!! Simple as that. That way I could’ve gotten someone with the experience do it.

Nathan did a great job. I’m picky about my beard and he did a great job shaping and trimming it just the way i like. Was quick gentle and efficient with using the straight razor to clean shave my head too! Found my new barber that’s for sure being new to the area.

Took my boys to get a cut and I was only impressed with 1 out of 3. All different barbers and only 1 of them did a good job. I told one barber to leave my sons hairline/edge up natural but he didn’t listen. Another cut my 3 year old sons hair and yeah my son moved a bit but I think the cut could have been better. And 3rd was the best no complaints. I did not get names. Overall good shop, clean, younger generation may feel a little more comfortable but I would recommend and possibly be back.

I was extremely surprised by Nick at the Barber shop. Called to schedule an appt. he was closing and stayed open for me. I came in and he cut my hair like a champ. Been doing the sports clips thing for the last decade. I will never go back. Hays county Barber shop is now my hair cut destination. Nick is a professional and the whole time i never wondered if it was going to be a bad hair cut. It felt like a specialist was cutting my hair. No BS. Highly recommend this place.

This was my first time getting my haircut at Hays County Barbershop and overall I am very pleased. I will definitely be back. The time he took and the explanation on what he did is the definition of giving customer service. From a person who was a bit anxious walking in John provided a welcoming experience and a real relaxed feel. I would recommend John and this place to anyone looking for a good cut in the Kyle area.

Critical: Quality, ValueWent in for a shave. Walked in, and though they were busy, I was shown to a chair very quickly. The staff was very. Ice and accommodating. The barber began the shave with cold foam and a hot towel. He massaged it in, and lifted the towel. He began the shave on the right side and it was spotty with the blade pulling the whiskers. After “finishing” that side, he began on the left, by that time had become dry. He basically dry shaved me on the left side of my face. Again the left side was spotty. I was raised up and then a Norelco was used to touch up my chin, lips, and missed areas on my face. I paid and left. It was too busy to make a scene and embarrass the barber. So now the left side of my face has raised razor burn and I need to shave again to take care of the missed spots. I got a closer, more thorough shave using my own Gillette razor and it didn’t cost me $50. DisappointedService: ShaveWent in for a shave.
