Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI just recently decided to check out Hawaiian holiday as it is in a convenient location for me. Stephanie helped me out immensely as far as describing all of the packages and ended up convincing me to buy a year package deal. Not only that but she also convinced me to buy a tanning lotion and was very patient with me as I asked many questions about each one. She was quick, attentive, very friendly, and she knew what she was talking about. I just recently decided to check out Hawaiian holiday as it is in a convenient location for me. Stephanie helped me out immensely as far as describing all of the packages and ended up convincing me to buy a year package deal. Not only that but she also convinced me to buy a tanning lotion and was very patient with me as I asked many questions about each one. She was quick, attentive, very friendly, and she knew what she was talking about. Overall a great experience and a wonderful place to visit if you’d like to tan.

Critical: ProfessionalismI used to tan here over summer and it was fine, staff was somewhat nice but they always had issues with other customers. Originally tried to charge me like 60$ to sign up for the cheapest bed. I used to tan here over summer and it was fine, staff was somewhat nice but they always had issues with other customers. Originally tried to charge me like 60$ to sign up for the cheapest bed. I’ve seen many better prices and better beds at other places and I cancelled my membership in August because I left for school and I haven’t been charged in months and recently they charged my account for 32$ when I haven’t tanned in months.

Critical: Professionalism, ValueI signed up for vip membership and was unable to utilize services due to being sick with covid and in quarantine. My health was my main priority at this time and I was not doing well and out of work. I called once I started feeling better and asked to have my account on hold to not accumulate further charges until I was able to satisfy my current balance and offered documentation. If you are unable to pay the month your account is on hold and are unable to utilize services however you still get charged for those months. So I am getting charged for 3 months now because I can’t freeze my account until I satisfy my balance and am unable to utilize services. I called and was willing to pay for the 2 months and was told no you are going to be charged for 3. Then was advised that I could just call my bank and stop payments which will still result in an account deficit and ultimately accumulate further debt for services I can not use. I signed up for vip membership and was unable to utilize services due to being sick with covid and in quarantine. My health was my main priority at this time and I was not doing well and out of work. I asked when the month was over as I wanted to cancel after this month. The manager then proceeded to tell me that I have to signup for a year. I said I would never sign a contract for a year when your pricing is the same as all the other tanning salons in the area. She didn’t say anything, then she goes oh you can cancel but you need to do it 30 days prior to the 1st of the month. (Was never explained to me but no employee I have ever came into contact with here has ever been friendly or trained) I then Proceeded to say that was never explained to me either but I let that go things happen. I then said I wanted to cancel as the manager is walking out the door, the employee named Zee said she can’t cancel my account. I have to come back when a manager is here to sign the paper work in order to cancel my account. Convenient.. I asked if she could have her manager cancel my account and phone me when it was completed, she said that’s not my problem. That’s not their problem?! I couldn’t believe the way I was treated by this employee. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. The employees are rude and unprofessional. They make it impossible to cancel your account you either have to do it by mail or wait for a manager to be in the store, hope you have the time to wait around !! The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because they do have the cheapest prices around, but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for. This place is not clean at all, if you use a bed I recommend you sanitize it yourself before you get in!!!!!
