Critical: Professionalism, QualityI decided to post an updated review after coming to this salon for the past year. Originally I was thrilled, but now it pains me to say that I no longer will come to this salon after the past couple of experiences I have had. I think I got lucky with my first haircut, because the rest of them were pretty much terrible. To summarize my entire review, I would say they have poor quality haircuts and are unprofessional and not worth your money. If you want my explanation as to why, continue reading.I will only specifically talk about my latest experience to shorten the length of my review. It started with an email that my appointment was changed without my consent. I called the salon and they claimed it was moved “concerning my safety with the severe weather”. This location’s weather was being closely monitored, but the appointment change didn’t have to do with me, but with the stylist wanting to go home (I figure that out later). I agree to move the appointment up anyways and come in early. When I arrive I was immediately ushered into a seat to begin my haircut. She must not have listened to the details of what I wanted because everything about this haircut was wrong. The very first thing I said was to leave the length of my hair, because I was trying to grow it out. She cut probably four inches off of my hair. It took me months to grow that out and it was gone in 5 minutes, I was devastated to come home and see it. My bangs were cut so short and looked nothing like the reference photos I showed her. I think the problem stylists have is that they claim to see four inches of split ends, when in reality its a quarter of an inch of split ends on each layer of someones hair. If each layer was trimmed, the length wouldn’t be lost. I told her I had layers, yet she proceeded to cut four inches off. I discovered her focus was on leaving early rather than caring about my wellbeing as she was cutting my hair. She seemed to be chopping my hair quickly and carelessly in an effort to leave early. Maybe if more time was taken focussing on what details I said, I wouldn’t be so upset. The especially unfortunate thing is that these people are extremely nice, but it doesn’t make up for the terrible haircuts. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueBy far the best salon I have been to in a very long time! I attempted to color my hair at home and ruined it! I came into Haute Head the next morning humiliated and they all made me feel comfortable and delivered EXACTLY what I wanted. Alex, my stylist was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. The salon was BEAUTIFUL, clean and well organized. I will now be a forever client. I am beyond happy with my platinum hair! By far the best salon I have been to in a very long time! I attempted to color my hair at home and ruined it! I came into Haute Head the next morning humiliated and they all made me feel comfortable and delivered EXACTLY what I wanted. Alex, my stylist was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. The salon was BEAUTIFUL, clean and well organized. I will now be a forever client. I am beyond happy with my platinum hair! Thank you Alex and all of Haute Head staff for the best experience!

I love love love my hair after visiting Haute Head Salon!! I’ve been searching for a new salon home for a while and this is it. I love the vibe of the salon itself. Everyone there is friendly, they all get along and everyone works together to make sure you get exactly what you want. Michelle did an AMAZING job on my highlights. I went in for a haircut, scalp massage and deep condition and ended up with a color as well. I was blessed to work with Michelle and she did such an amazing job. Every single person in the shop was smiling, pleasant and polite! Michelle offered me ideas, did the BEST scalp massage and perfected a color for me. I went in for a haircut, scalp massage and deep condition and ended up with a color as well. I was blessed to work with Michelle and she did such an amazing job.
