I love my stylist and have been going to her for yrs but I’m afraid after today I will not be back. One of the owners chastised me while getting my hair done because I mentioned something about his wife and her dementia. I’m a paying customer and to be embarrassed by the owner of the salon is unacceptable. Also he touched me and I did not give him permission to and felt very uncomfortable. The Harvey brothers are greedy and stingy. They double book the only 2 stylists they have and treat them poorly. Not even letting them use the bathroom between customers. I hope my stylist opens her own salon.

Only appointment she had for today was at noon and it was 5 minutes away and I said I couldn’t make it and how about later or another day. She hung up on me. I called back thinking we were disconnected, however it was no mistake she told me if I wanted it to get there and hung up… I didn’t go, she was rude.

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityMy mother went in last week. The worse customer service ever. The owner is a complete jerk. My mother walked around for 20 minutes before he even asked her if he could help her. Then yelled at her because she walked between the racks.. apparently that’s frowned upon. Leave a sign up and maybe someone would know the rules without you being a complete jerk. There’s a way to say something to someone without being completely rude. You lost business for sure. The stylists here were very professional, friendly and helpful!! My toddler was getting his 3rd hair cut and Jennifer was the beautician who has cut his hair the previous two times and she was so kind and patient with him that I had to locate her here to have her continue to cut my son’s hair. She’s easy to talk to and will be an asset to this establishment!! The other lady’s there were just as helpful and kind too..they helped to keep my son focused and relaxed during his hair cut in a new place. One went so far as to use a dragon puppet and voices to help out. Not to mention my son’s hair looks amazing!!

A little back story, I went to harveys for a long time a few years back and never had a problem. Well my little cousin needed her hair done for school, so I called and set up an appointment. She was wanting an ombre. We arrive and the stylist was sweet as could be, cut her hair, and went to mix up the bleach. When she came back, she said she had a family emergency. The other stylists were honest and said they was unsure how to do an ombre, which is fine, I appreciate the honesty. (This is in no way against the stylists.) We went to the counter to pay for her cut, and the owner was having a tempur tantrum yelling at his stylists saying they scared us out of getting her hair done. And he tried to get me to pay for the bleach bowl, saying it was thirty dollars, remind you this is the bleach that never touched her hair. Moral of the story, the owner is rude, disorganized, money hungry, and extremely disrespectful towards his customers and stylists.
