Critical: ProfessionalismI have been using this nail salon since it first opened and, for the most part, have been pretty satisfied with my results. However, I went in recently to have my acrylics removed (which I had done at this salon a month before) and, instead of soaking them off like they have every other time in the past, my nail technician decided to wedge a fake nail between my real nail and the acrylic to just pop it off. Obviously, this damaged my nail much more than other removal methods and took chunks of my actual nail with the piece of acrylic she was prying off. I asked her after the first nail was complete why we weren’t soaking them off and she did not respond to me and later, after I winced in pain because she was damaging my nails, she asked me if I was “tough” and chuckled as she continued to pry them off. She pressed down so hard on my natural nail under the acrylic to create a space to wedge the fake nail that, once the service was complete, my nails were left ripped apart and now easily bend on every edge. I am beyond disappointed because I paid $20 to have my nails ruined when I could have done the same thing at home to remove them for free. I have been using this nail salon since it first opened and, for the most part, have been pretty satisfied with my results. However, I went in recently to have my acrylics removed (which I had done at this salon a month before) and, instead of soaking them off like they have every other time in the past, my nail technician decided to wedge a fake nail between my real nail and the acrylic to just pop it off.
