Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueGot a no chip manicure and pedicure. Staff was very nice. Very very clean and organized salon. They take there time and make sure not to rush. The massage they gave was amazing. Definitely would recommend!

They are not CLEAN in general and I do not recommend to anyone . All the equipment and everything is not clean. I will reach out to BBB to file my complaints . She used a machine to trim my toe nails thickness and now I have to see a doctor… all the nail clippers and everything else is not clean they just use it one after the other. The only reason I went there was because they are not busy… no wonder why ????

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI attempted to go into this location about five minutes ago and although I called earlier to ask what time they closed (told 7pm)( it’s now 5pm) the man told me he was tired so he’s closed. I drove from Summit Illinois! There were people inside! Although it did look like he was alone all I wanted was to remove my nails. A business should honor the time they close correct ? So the professionalism is clearly lacking . Why were the doors not locked ? Hmmmmm on a Friday closing up early ?! No signs of different hours due to COVID and a phone call to just confirm they closed at 7 but closing at 5 and then to tell me it’s because ur tired! If you have to drive don’t waste your time. I will give 3 stars for effort but I must share my experience! So I called him around 230 and clearly asked him if he could do a full set of Ombré nails including three colors which was black purple and pink, and two fingers, one on each hand with three diamonds along the cuticle he told me yes for $50 so I jumped on it because everywhere else has been pricing me $80 and up. I should have known why it was so cheap the minute I walked in, it was dead and there was one man working which was the owner. Now I must say he was extremely friendly after 30 minutes of starting my nails we finally start talking. But he had no idea how to do Ombré as I was watching him, the way he took off my nails I have never seen that happen before my fingers were starting to burn in the bowl of acetone and his selection of nail polish and gel dip powders were very very small and outdated. Oh and I forgot once I arrived he told me he cannot or does not know how to do three colors he could only do two colors so I settled with doing two instead of the design that I had called and asked for. I asked him if he ran the shop alone and he said he works with his wife but because of Covid the wife is at home with the kids which is totally understandable but you could tell he does not get much business or else he would hire other employees. Like I said I give him three stars for the effort they are OK, but I’m a little disappointed because he knew I was going to Vegas on Monday and really wanted my nails looking good for the event especially since it is my honeymoon!! I’m going to post a picture and I want everyone’s opinions on if this is hombre or not I will show you a picture of what I asked him for and what he gave me!!

They definitely have new owners, but I was content with the service. It was timely and adequate. There’s room for improvement, but I would give them another try. I would give 3.5 stars but the solid 4 is because I went for a basic manicure and pedicure and the polish on my nails hasn’t chipped or faded!

I’ve been here twice so far and both times they did an incredible job on my nails. Prices are very reasonable too. They always have movies on a large tv screen to keep their clients entertained. Love Jess – she’s great!

Honestly,I liked better the previous team: Miki and Toni – they were true professionals – worked at Harmony till the Fall of 2017. The Gentle Nails is not visualized at the front door – still the Harmony sign is on.The new ones:Jess who smiles a lot( doesn’t understand well English) and the guy is pretty brutal sometimes. Last time I asked for a no chip manicure- medium orchid pink shade, that over night has discolored to light beige. I knew the reason: improper and cheep quality polish that wasn’t designed for UV treatment. I have returned and complained, but surprisingly Jess was laughing instead of any apology….She has dared to ask : You don’t like it?! Finally, I have returned after 10 days- asked to be removed the discolored polish coating and made it clear that it was the worst manicure I have ever received. She was laughing again …that’s why I concluded that she doesn’t understand English… I was charged $10 for this.Also, I was supposed to point out that a vitamin nail treatment and protective coating would be proper, as she wouldn’t put anything on after the acetone treatment…Never back there, I was completely disappointed.

I do NOT recommend.. unless you want to catch an infection. They come out all proper and professionally remove all their tools from a bag to make you feel all has been professionally disinfectant – well what do you know.. once they finished with my manicure and pedicure they ended up placing same used/dirty tools in the same bag without cleaning or disinfecting – all ready for the next customer… GROSS.. nothing is being disinfected in this place.. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!
