I took my daughter here for her stater locs for her 10th birthday and her stylist Tayj did an excellent job I was hesitant at first to loc my baby’s hair but I’m so glad I did!!! Tayj is so sweet and very knowledgeable when it came to maintaining my daughter’s locs. I can’t wait to see how my baby’s loc journey is going to evolve . First 2 times I went was perfect. 3rd time I came in at 11am as a walk in with my own dye. I only have the top of my head locked. After 2 hours one of the sisters (Not Gya) asked to speak with me about what I wanted done. She made me feel like I did something wrong for wanting a dye, retwist and style as a walk in. I understood exactly where I was at and the type of people they service so she basically tried to charge me $150. I have never paid over $70 in that shop and I basically got called a liar and she continued to ask me if I at least had $100. I did not so I just left. I will never recommend anyone else to this shop and I’m never coming back. Very Unprofessional

Went about 2 months ago on a Saturday. Super busy, no seats and stylist didn’t even know I had an appointment. At this point it didn’t even matter if you had an appointment or was just a walk in! I waited for about 40 mins until I was serviced. Sadiah (not sure of the spelling) finished my hair within 20 mins. My hair was full of jam and I had about 40 locs in my head. I knew at that very moment to never return. I kept a cap on my head until I visited another shop who thought I twisted my own hair (it was just that bad).

I had my first visit to happy to be nappy on Friday April 1st for a consultation. After the young lady felt the texture of my hair, I was given a 1:00 pm appointment for Saturday April the 2nd, where I was greeted at the front desk by the young lady name Nai. Nai was very polite and professional. She washed and conditioned my hair, and i waited a few minutes before my hair stylist Na had me to come up front and sit in her chair. Na styled my hair in twist, and sat me under the hair dryer. After about 30 minutes of drying, I was called back up front. While waiting for Na to complete her work, she ask me if I need a line up and fade on the sides. I responded yes. That’s when Na introduced me to a young brother named Tracy. The young man Tracy is a master with a pair of Clippers. He did a great job.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueWas treated very rudely by this stylist when I came in for services, I have micro lock and how they mad me feel when asking can someone retighten my hair was overwhelming, embarrassing, & disrespectful. I deal with people everyday being a practitioner I have never in my right mind never thought to do a human being that way. I was trying to find a place without having to wait so long a price was never a problem for me. it’s been since May 25 I had my hair tightened I just wanted a local place to go.
