I brought my daughter for her very first haircut. The woman did not listen to me at all. I asked for a trim. Super simple, right? The woman cut several inches off and took all of my daughter’s curls out. My husband and I feel very sad about it. Never bring your child here.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityWell, after reading the reviews I thought maybe I’ll give it a chance. Well i made a mistake. My son has never had a worse haircut then this, or a horrible experience. They have no training in handling children. No patience whatsoever. I asked if she could leave some hair on top so I can brush it and style it. She said no because his hair is too straight and bam just went straight and cut everything off. Hair grows, but I will never bring my kid here again. I rather make the extra drive to Hillsdale mall and go to cookie cutters. They are real professionals and it’s only 5 bucks more. Only came here because I thought I could find a place close to home but my kid has never had an experience where he is screaming the whole time. Another thing, I gave her 40 bucks and asked for $15 back as change. Figured my kids hair cut was only worth a $1 tip. I guess she wasn’t happy with that and gave me my exact change. Well thank you.Service: HaircutWell, after reading the reviews I thought maybe I’ll give it a chance. Well i made a mistake. My son has never had a worse haircut then this, or a horrible experience. Not the friendliest, however, they’re clean, professional, and can handle kiddos with special needs.

Not thee friendliest staff. My two year old is terrified of haircuts but I had let the lady know ahead of time on the phone that my son isn’t the easiest kid to hair cut but that if she could give us some extra time to get him adjusted like play time and just making him comfortable and feel safe but unfortunately in person the lady just rolled her eyes at the first sec my son started crying and told her coworker “we started the day like this now we are going to end it like this” looking back at my two year old. My two year old also was told by this not so nice lady “no haircut, no playtime” so we left without even trying and the hairdresser was simply unbothered.

I like bringing my kids here. There are several chairs, including cool cars for little kids. The stylists work quickly and listen to your requests. There is also a really neat play area for little ones after they get their haircut.

Great for kids haircuts! We never have an appointment and haven’t had a long wait. There’s entertainment for the kids while waiting and distraction for them while in the chair which is especially good if your kid freaks out. The ladies that work there are really nice and always remember us. Have been going to Happy Scissors for a few years. The price has remained under $20.00.

My two year old hates getting his hair cut. Which means he doesn’t sit still at all and screams. But it doesn’t phase the people at happy scissors they still give him an amazing haircut. They have all kinds of cool stuff to keep kids preoccupied and quiet. And their is an awesome play area while they wait. I a big happy scissors fan.

My daughter was a little nervous at first but loves going now. Thanks for putting her at ease and giving her a sweet haircut! She keeps walking around saying, “don’t I have a beautiful haircut?”

Friendly, quick, and well equipped with everything to distract your little one. They have retro metal cars for barber chairs. Also have a nice play space with lots of toys. Sylvia helped us today and she was a pro with my 22 month old.
