The haircut I got was good and quick. I was able to make a same day appointment which I appreciate. The stylist was not chatty at all which is fine, but she didn’t ask any follow-up questions at the end of the haircut about the length or check in to see if I was happy with it. It was a decent price for a women’s haircut around here – $35 – so I may be back, but it definitely wasn’t a perfect experience.

Great place for a decent haircut. If your looking for a place as hair salons reopen, Happy Salon is the place to go. Very impressed with how clean the place is kept, totally kept equipment clean as the hair cut goes on. I certainly felt comfortable getting a haircut here. I got mine done by Tun, surely knows his stuff.

My go to salon for the past 12 years since their start in Redwood City on Main Street to their current location on Broadway inside Sola Salons. Beyond excellent job doing my hair with Japanese straightening and coloring. The owners, Lien and Tung, are so nice, professional and easygoing. The prices are great and the quality makes it well worth the cost. I will never go anywhere else.

Tun and Lien always do an excellent job. I’ve been coming here for shampoo and cuts for four years now. They are efficient, both give top-notch haircuts, and I always leave the salon feeling fresh and happy!

Saw the review. Gave it a try. Got an appointment within 23 minutes. Told her what I wanted (sorry didn’t ask for her name ),15 minutes, done! Beautifully. It’s a very small salon with only one lady and one gentleman. I use to go to Broadway bigger salon much more expensive as well. The experience here in happy salon is very pleasant and coming back for sure. A wash and a cut only $45.

Very pleased with my experience at Happy Salon. Called ahead to get an appointment and got a time within the hour. I went into the appointment with a vague idea of what I wanted and the gentleman who cut my hair did a great job and was very kind. Will definitely be returning to Happy Salon and recommending it to others. Tip: it’s inside Sola Salon.

Great little salon inside of the Sola Salon Studios. I was able to get a same-day appointment during the week. For $35, I got a wash, cut, and partial blow dry. I was really impressed with the prices. The stylist was really quiet, checked her phone a few times, and even made a call while she was in the middle of cutting my hair, which I thought was weird. I also had to wait 15 minutes after my appointment time before the stylist was ready for me.

Incredible duo running this salon, I always leave with a smile on my face. I usually come to them with overly specific ideas and they do a killer job every time. I bleach and dye my hair here too, and they know exactly how to make it look great.
