I am new to Decatur. First time here. Walked in to get a new coat of dip powder. The woman let the product layer over my skin. I told her what was going on. She expected me to sit after she was done with all the layers so she could use the drill to remove the portion over my skin. I trusted her, she attempted, hurt my cuticles and still left product over my skin. Asked her to remove everything because it was still over my skin, she hurt me and that I knew the acetone would burn. She was upset. Did the slightest to remove as much as possible with drill (she only removed the top, unlike with the dip layers I came in with; she used the drill 3x). Left me there to burn away in acetone with my cuts. Sat on her phone giggling and never went over my THICK layered dip nails while I rubbed the heck out of them with a dry paper towel, which later she told me to submerge in nails. I didn’t pay but that was the worst experience I’ve had. They got offended like if I’m in the wrong because I stood up for myself. What about some practice?. I didn’t even finish removing the product fully, she saw I removed most of it and then just asked “you want to do it again?” Aka place my nails in the acetone again while she smiled. I was furious after that. Idk she needs to practice with drug store polish.
