I have been going here for a couple months now and I have yet to be disappointed!! I live in Colchester but I am in Willimantic almost every day, so after a dismal experience at KAP Nails in Colchester, a few ladies recommended Happy Nails 2. I am so happy I decided to give them a try! The same older woman does my nails every time I go, since I usually go in the morning shortly after they open. I can’t recall her name, but she is so sweet and really takes her time with my nails. I have acrylics with UV gel polish and she always makes sure to let me know every time they get new gel colors in! They are also very affordable, I pay $28 plus tip for an acrylic fill with gel polish. I plan on getting a pedicure here next time I go in, since Friday 5/31 I was there getting a fill and multiple people came back to back to get a spa pedicure and they of course did what looked like a wonderful job. They have a huge selection of polishes, and all the employees are very skilled in their craft. I am always warmly welcomed and totally relaxed. My nails also last sooooooo long compared to when I used to get them done at the salon in my town! I go for a fill every 3 weeks and they still look as good as they say I got them done besides the obvious growth of my natural nails underneath but that’s to be expected. Overall, this place is totally deserving of the 5/5 stars!!!!

Even if I didn’t live 5 minutes from Happy Nails, this would be my go-to for beautiful nails (tho’ I do love the fact that they’re right in my community – I like supporting local businesses). It’s everything you want a nail salon to be: clean, inviting, friendly, efficient, and they do a GREAT job – my nails have never looked better. I’m missing one toenail and they are always so attentive to “creating” a new acrylic replacement that looks exactly like it grew there 🙂 My partner and I like to do his ‘n’ hers pedicures and he loves it too. No need for me to go anywhere else.

My wife and I love going to Happy Nails 2 for our nail services. Everyone there is really nice and, do a great job. Unlike alot of other nail salons in the area, Happy Nails 2 are not pushy for upcharged services and other unnecessary items.

She threw the basket of colors at me said pick one without so much as a hello first. Then when I explained I didn’t want any color or top coat she rolled her eyes at me! Not a good start. She was very rough and cut the sides of 3 of my fingers with the drill, and to top it off none of my nails are the same length, or even remotely square, and 4 nails had thin spots and divets along the edges/sides, as well as a lot of acrylic left on my skin! My entire full set of acrylics took a total of 22 mins. Other issues I observed: its a small space and it was very over crowded by the time I left, several people including the techs were not wearing masks, and I noticed the table and area I was at was not wiped down between clients, eww (I vigorously washed my hands with soap & water before I left and used a lot of sanitizer before I got to my car) I got home and spent about 30 mins trying to even them out the best I could.
