My first time getting my nails done, and I’ll be back there. I love the patience they have. The next day, I forgot I had my nails done, because she did them so nicely. The employees are very nice (especially Terry) , the chairs are comfortable, they let you charge your phone, and their supplies very updated and sanitized.

Critical: QualityWhere do i begin? They took my gel off my nails with a drill. They made my nails paper thin. I blinked and she was already cutting my natural nails, without asking. As she applied the tips, i can feel the glue dripping down my finger. She then placed the acrylic and activator and asked me to place under the led which burned! I left out of there with acrylic built up under my cuticles and dried up glue all over fingers. They patch up their bad work with cuticle oil so u don’t see the mistakes right away. I had to come home and refile my nails. They were also not painted around the edges. Looked like my 6 yr old did them. Positive: QualityLet me start off by saying I’m a guy so I can’t speak much on the quality part of painting of nails and stuff that women typically do but they were soooo attentive and thorough in working on my feet(which I appreciate greatly lol) i Didn’t feel like they were cutting corners or rushing me out like I have in other places. Very nice and sweet lady working there. I wasn’t crazy about how she shaped my nails, but the fill in was good. I would go back because I did nails for 20 years so I can take a descent fill in, reshape and polish my own, which I do almost 99% of the time with most nail salons.

I went to happy nails on my day off because it was close to my home. The guy that I sat with didn’t seem to know what he was doing as he couldn’t advice whether I needed a fill-in or a full set. When he was done they looked ok but started to break that evening. The nail on my right thumb broke that Sunday so I called them the next day on Monday and explain I just got my nails done and it’s breaking. They said they would get back to me but never did so I went in on Tuesday to show them. The guy wasn’t there but a lady which was the only person there claimed that she was working that Sunday I came in to do my nails and never saw me. She tried to say that I never came in to Happy Nails to get my nails done but luckily I used my debit card and was able to prove that I came two days ago to do my nails with them. Now that she couldn’t deny my nails were done with them she fix the thumb but the next day which was Wednesday another nail broke so I went in again and they fixed it . Then Thursday another nail broke I went in for the third time and they fixed that one. Two days later one of the nails that they fixed broke again but by then I’d had enough. I I have never experienced such bad service and quality anywhere that I’ve done my nails. They are the worst and everyone should stay away.

Got a full set here and a pedicure. You get what you pay for. They didn’t clean the foot bath between customers. The lady who did my nails was nice enough but she roughed up my natural nail so bad that it hurt for days and burned like crazy when she put on the acrylic. I let that slide cause accidents happen. She put me under the dryer and left me there for a long time. And by that I mean she waxed another customer and she was halfway through putting nails on someone else. The whole time there were at least 3 other women sitting around doing nothing but being loud on the other side of the salon. I finally decided I had had enough and asked if I could just pay her so I could go home. Then on my way home I realized my nail polish was all scuffed up and my nails fell off after two weeks.

I have lived in Belleville for 6yrs and have gone to this nails salon off & on for 5yrs because its close to home. I have had many services at this salon and I currently come here only for pedicures. The Owner Kathy is nice at first until you question your nail design or any other services then she is very short & rude.
