Barbara is an average masseuse but my issue is she is heavily in the disc golf scene here in Colorado springs and I recently found out everything I’ve ever told her while getting a message gets told to everyone in that community. I absolutely LOVE Hang Zen. I go to Barbara, who is the best massage therapist I have had. I am a crossfitter, so I am constantly tight/tense but Barbara knows exactly how to loosen my sore body, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My Husband goes to Angela….my husband can be a difficult man, and he absolutely LOVES coming here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing massage

Huge scam!!! Wants you to pay $100 for 5 massages- which sounds good. Then when you go to schedule she is always booked and when you finally schedule something she cancels on you. She canceled on me twice and my coworker bought the same thing and she cancelled on her as well. I asked for my money back and she said she would refund me but hasn’t and has been giving me excuse after excuse as to why she’s not refunding it. Don’t buy into her “deal”!!

Yes this is a Scam. I purchased 12 massages in advance and only used 4. She was constantly pressuring me to buy more. She offered one year of massage – 1 per week for $1,500 and I was not interested. I showed up for my last scheduled massage and she was gone. I texted her but of course no response.

SAVE YOUR $$- I purchased the 90-minute hot stone massage Groupon. When I booked and came in for my appointment they had to reschedule- no big deal, they made it up to me and Barbara (the owner) was always pleasant. I went in for my reschedule and while it was supposed to be with Barbara, I was informed she was out of the office and was taking more of an “administrative role” so I got Misty instead. Misty’s technique was good BUT it should have been called a “luke-warm stone massage” and she only did the back side of my body (NEVER had that happen before). Also, while it was supposed to be 90-minutes long, they kept me waiting in the lobby for half an hour PAST my actual appointment time because their prior client went over time and then they had to re-sheet the room. I figured “no big deal, I have time and they will just push the appointment to half an hour longer so I get my full time”… NOPE- I only got an hour of actual massage time from start to finish because she still ended promptly 90 minutes after my appointment time SHOULD have started. I tipped Misty for the work she did (after all it was decent in and of itself) but needless to say I had high hopes for this one as a place I could return to over and over again and was sadly disappointed. Between Barbara not showing up and the fact that I had 30 minutes of my time wasted (plus screwed out of the additional 30 minutes I paid for) and the fact that the front side of my body never got addressed- I won’t be going back and I am contacting Groupon to try and get a refund of the extra money I paid for the extended version. I would more reliable place than HANG ZEN if I were you.

I will not go to any another massage place other than Hang Zen. Barbara is the best and knows exactly what you need to make you relaxed and feel like a million dollars. I would recommend Hang Zen to anyone who wants a quality massge from the best!
