I’ve been going here since I moved to Albany years ago. I like the relaxed atmosphere of the place, and I always get a great hair cut and beard trim. Plus they offer me a drink when I come in, so if I have to wait a little bit it’s never a big deal. Love the hot towel and shampoo, and they lather up and shave the back of your neck with the straight razor for that extra clean look. You can even do a full wet shave! They get really busy on the weekend so plan ahead or call ahead for an appt if you can. Highly recommend.

Place was clean, comfortable, and staff was very pleasant. I left a five star but I had to come back after shower and looking in the mirror, this was a $45 haircut ($10 was just Tip so that parts on me) I have never imagined this bad of a Hair cut could be performed. Hair several different lengths, bald spots, no blending, kinda bad as imaginable I gotta say. I really liked the person and she as sweet and I am SO SO sorry to leave a bad review but wow, this is horrible standards for $35. I am gonna have to wear a hat for months before I can fix this. No way I am going back. Cannot emphasize I hate to say bad things about this place, I met owner when he first opened and he seemed awesome, but was this was bad. Far as staff that did cut it, no clue who it was and I really liked her, but ouch this is bad 🙁 See pics.

My husband and I walked in and we were not greeted by anyone there at all. We sat there for 30 minutes and not a word was spoken to us the entire time. price is ridiculous for a regular basic hair cut they rush through the session left patches and long hairs also can’t even do basic line ups. this place is for old guys who pay a ridiculous price just because the hairstylist are a little less than decent looking and extra friendly for tips. spend 8$ at super cuts instead of 30$ here for the same work. if I can rate with no star I would I don’t recommend this place at all.

I wish I could give 100 stars for Steven (or Stephen), he gave my partner a haircut and beard trim before our maternity photos and did an amazing job. He is hands down the best barber at handsome devil, I haven’t seen my partner have a cut quite like Steven does. He always comes back looking fresh, not a hair out of place, the fade is on point and his beard has never looked better. If you’re looking for a great professional barber with top of the line technique and skill, ask for Steven!
