I would definitely recommend Hands on Hastings to anyone interested in a great massage! The space was clean, quiet and put me at ease immediately. Edwin is a consummate professional, who listened intently to what i needed addressed. His knowledge of the body and techniques were impeccable. I left there feeling like brand new! He advised that he also makes house calls. I may take him up on that next time!

My apologies on my original review of 2 stars, my cellphone died and after charging it, I was not able to change it until now. This was my first massage ever, but it will not be my last. Edwin was GREAT, I was able to relax and enjoy the experience. I would definitely recommend Hands On Hastings.

I had very mixed feelings about my experience. I purchased a 60 min massage. I arrived on time and Ed had me fill out a form on my health, pain, etc. we then went over the form, but not in much detail. I then received a 45 min massage. I think it would have been better if I was told to arrive a little early so we could go over things, but I was told to arrive at 10:15 and that’s when I did. I’m frustrated that I didn’t get the 60 minutes I paid for. Also, I believe I received a deep tissue, and I had purchased a Swedish. I also didn’t know bc of the promotion and the website that Hands-On-Hastings was just Edwin, a male therapist. I would have not have gone that route, in order to have a female therapist. I have an old injury that was bc of assault (by a man). It is usually the practice of most places to ask the client what their preference is. That didn’t happen here. On a happier note, Edwin was kind and professional. This was just too off the mark for me.

I want to clarify I am giving a truly honest review. The place is clean, soothing, and extremely comfortable. Ed is a very nice guy and is really good at what he does. He has over 20 years of experience, and it shows. I did the 1 1/2 hour deep tissue massage and it was amazingly relaxing. I feel energized and loose.

Edwin is a gifted massage therapist. I recommend him most highly. I look forward to seeing him grow his body work practice in Hastings and hope to get on a regular schedule for this essential health service (especially as I get older!)

Didn’t get to the massage as he demanded 20% tip on $105 before the massage. Groupon did not note this information in their deal offered. Something smells rotten. I would have tipped him, but sending me a text telling me there’s a 20% gratuity due rubs me the wrong way. No pun intended.
