My husband and I have been going to Jon for all our tattoos for about 15 years and we recommend all our friends to go to Handmade Studio! The entire staff are all amazing artists , extremely friendly and charismatic. They give a good , chill vibe and the shop is very neat, hygienic and clean. It never ceases to amaze me the updated pictures posted on Handmade Instagram. I have a full right side body piece done by Jon and Heather, and I ALWAYS get tons of compliments about it. I love the new shop in Mound!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! My friend and I (we are 19) went and got our first tattoos ever here and I’m so glad we chose this place. The place is very clean and professional looking, Jon made us feel super comfortable right away by chatting with us and saying “don’t worry I’m going to make these tattoos super cute and dainty” even though that’s not typically the type of tattoo he does. His fine lines were SO GOOD and he listened when I said I think I would prefer a thinner line than what he was thinking of doing for a part of the tattoo. He was also very good at answering his emails quickly when I was sending him ideas. Go here!!!

Handmade is byfar the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. I will only go there for my tattoos because I know that I will get the best and most creative work out there! Jon is a excellent artist that wont sugar coat stuff. Give him a idea and he will run with it. He does a lot of great work within the time slot that you are booked. The shop is nice, clean, simple and in a safe location. I like that the shop is only open for appointments so the artist is not bothered by lots of random people coming in during your booked time distracting him from his work. Highly recommend him and his shop.

My wife booked an appointment at this shop to surprise me for my 40th birthday. Getting a tattoo has always been something on my bucket list. I more so wanted the experience, to say I did it, and I also wanted something discrete so I chose to get my kids names tattooed on my feet. We walked in and it was decorated very beautifully. The place was modern, clean, and smelled good. There was chill music playing as well (my favorite band). The entire experience was amazing. Both Heather and Jon were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The tattoos came out perfect and they provided me with a goodie bag consisting of after-care products. I would highly recommend anyone visit this place for a tattoo. Hands down best environment, people, and quality of work. A+++++
