I have been greeting bi weekly massages for years now for serve muscle tension and migraines. I prefer deep tissue and can really take a painful massage because that’s usually what gets me feeling better. I just moved here and decided to try them out and explained to the therapist that it was my upper back and neck that needed the most work. The session was okay but he ended up REALLY hurting my arms. I kept asking him to lower the pressure and it just got unbearable. I’m not even sure why he was working in my arms when I specifically asked to focus on my neck. The rest of the day and following few days I have been in so much pain and my arms are covered in bruises. Red, bloc, green yellow and blue bruises everywhere on my arms. I’ve tried reaching out to management, the company and posted reviews and no one has gotten back to me. I definitely would go somewhere else. Especially because they were one of the more expensive places. They clearly just care about making a profit and not the wellness of their customers.

I booked an hour couples massage which was decent to say the least, but the last few times we have been there our massage has only lasted 42 minutes max. I understand 50 minutes but 42! For the prices I expect the therapists to be honest about the time and set a timer. I know it’s only 8 minutes but it does make a difference. It just keeps getting shorter and shorter. Not worth it.

Update: After my post, the company replied asking me to call them and that was an absolute waste of time. I just repeated what I had already said and the person who answered the phone was annoyed. Didn’t seem like a productive call but she said she would make note of what I said. Maybe they’ll start giving costumers a copy of the paper work, whether it’s a paper copy or an email.

Was going to get my husband a massage from here for his birthday to find that it was cancelled. No courtesy call or email from the staff. Glad I checked instead of us show up on his day to find that his time slot is gone. I’d go somewhere that isn’t a massage chain if you want to get your moneys worth. This is the “fast food” of massage and spa establishments.

Buyer Beware! Purchased a gift card for my daughter and have been unable to use the gift card due to Hand and Stone canceling on three different occasion. Spend your money with another brand!! The manager and owner are only willing to rebook. Not holding my breath that she will ever be able to use the gift card due to them canceling
