Hand & Stone Ferndale has a lovely staff, high quality service and a wonderful environment. All of my needs, from special attention to an injury during my massage to providing watermelon infused water during services, were met. My expectations were far exceeded. Donyelle, my masseuse, provided a wonderful massage experience where I quite literally left walking better and with less pain because of her. Delaney gave me a relaxing and soothing facial, making sure to not use any products that would upset my skin. Amazing staff. Amazing services. Very clean, relaxing atmosphere. FIRST OF ALL! They are Bomb!! My experience was amazing! I wanted to treat myself to a spa day for my birthday, I got a facial with Delaney, it was so relaxing and I loved the education I received during! She even had products to suggest for my skin care journey! Thank you! My Swedish massage was EVER Y THING ! Quantia got hands crafted by the GODS Okay! I had a certain stiffness in my hip/pelvis that I didn’t even mention (problem area was the back) and she popped it right out!! I’ve been dealing with that for months maybe even more!!! I get facials 1-2 x a month and this was one of the worst facials I’ve ever received. My appointment was for 3. I was taken back at 3:06 the Esti took me back and said “have you ever gotten a facial before?” And i said yes. Then she said I’m gonna get products and let you get on the table I’ll be right back. Then from 3:07-3:17 I’m laying there .. I finally get up and walk out and say just cancel my appointment but the front desk told me the Esti will be right back in. . The facial wasn’t even a facial. Couldn’t even feel the products on my face – I felt her glove more than anything. . No bright light was done on my skin after cleansing to make recommendations on what kind of facial to do.. such as Brightening, red light therapy etc .. very little massage involved and the extractions were not many at all.,,, I went home and used my own extractor tool and did my nose chin cheeks and forehead. Super disappointing. When I checked out the front desk knew I did not enjoy my facial and nothing was done but a “i hope to see you next time” Needless to say this is not a customized facial the fact that they have two skincare lines and the Esti grabs the products before she even looks at your skin…. you can get a better facial with better quality products for way cheaper at Douglas j aveda.

I have back issues and Quanita, AKA Que, took great care of me. She asked all the normal questions to ask, is that good? Too hard? Etc. But she spent a good deal of time trying to work my back out. She stretched me in at least 20 different positions. While I felt great and on cloud 9 from the products She used, Unfortunately I still left with my back challenges but i’m really clear it’s something deeper going on with me. She even set me up with an at home plan and didnt pressure me to schedule another visit so Book with Que.
