Positive: Professionalism, QualityI’ve had several massages here at Hand & Stone Fort Myers. The last 4 times I have to say have been the Best! I’ve been going to Claudia due to some upper back and shoulder pain and stiffness. Claudia has been able to work out the tight muscles and I leave feeling very Relaxed. I will continue to book my every 2 week massages with her! I’ve had several massages here at Hand & Stone Fort Myers. The last 4 times I have to say have been the Best! I’ve been going to Claudia due to some upper back and shoulder pain and stiffness. Claudia has been able to work out the tight muscles and I leave feeling very Relaxed. I will continue to book my every 2 week massages with her! Everyone I’ve seen (including the front desk girls) has been so professional, kind, and attentive. I love this location of Hand & Stone. I have been here for hot stone massages and acne back-facials (for my troubled skin on my back). Everyone I’ve seen (including the front desk girls) has been so professional, kind, and attentive. Tammy the esthetician is phenomenal and explains the whole process to you from beginning to end.

Critical: Communication, QualityBooked a 1 hour massage. I arrived 5min before my scheduled appointment. Massage lasted 30min from the time started till she was done. (I checked my phone to confirm.) As for the actual massage it was 30 min for someone to just apply oil on my neck and back with rubber gloves. No massage. I went up front and explained what happened, they had no response except your total is $98. Next day I get emails about my experience. Filled everything out. They asked if I wanted a phone call about my bad experience. I said yes, gave them my phone number. Waited a week. No phone call. Then today got a email to leave feedback. As for the actual massage it was 30 min for someone to just apply oil on my neck and back with rubber gloves. No massage. I was told who my massage therapist was, the massage therapist gave me a price sheet of additional services and ask me any specific areas of focus which I did communicate specific areas. although, I communicated some of the areas where I needed more pressure to be applied the service was overall very very basic I was not satisfied with the massage. once my receipt was printed it clearly said introductory to hand stone massage but I never received a stone massage Instead I received a basic hand massage why would I pay $89 for a hand massage? I was overall disappointed with the service. I’ve had massages at other companies and typically the receptionist or front Desk confirms the type of services that you’re receiving at check in and the therapist also verifies the type of services being received. so I’m disappointed that I didn’t get what was paid for and I’m also disappointed that the front desk was expecting payment after my service. I had to remind the receptionist that I had a gift card which I also mentioned when I scheduled the services. had I not communicated that I had a gift certificate on file they would’ve allowed me to pay for the service service. They also asked if I was leaving gratuity, which I had mention again that the gratuity was on the gift card. In fact they are the ones who reminded that the gratuity was already taken care of when I called to schedule an appointment. Also it seems that they offer packages but I was not offered anything. I also put on my form that I wanted the therapist to apply medium pressure but the overall pressure was very light almost like I applying lotion to my body.
