Enjoyed my time here at Hand & Stone. My partner gave me a Gift Certificate Valentines 2022. I finally booked it, which was seamless (over the phone). The Kirkland location had since closed so i ventured to Redmond.

I had an introductory 1-hr Swedish/deep tissue massage with Zona and it was fantastic! She listened, seemed to care about my well-being, was nice and friendly, gentle and meticulous when needed, and sure could throw down the elbows for seized back muscles that refused to loosen. She dedicated nearly the entire session to my back which was exactly what I had requested.

The customer service has never been great at Hand & Stone. I had an absolutely incredible facialist, so we were loyal members, even through the pandemic, despite tons of administrative issues (such as frequently losing my account and making me re-apply several times, forgetting to actually book appointments I’ve scheduled, losing credit card information, etc.). When my facialist left this summer, I considered cancelling my membership, so I called to ask about the process. They explained that membership cancellation was an entire process which included signing some forms. Until those forms were signed, my membership would continue. Again, this was strictly an inquiry call. I did not cancel anything. I had some packages left over so I wanted to use them up as that would be a ton of money wasted. A couple weeks ago I booked myself a facial. When I come in, they informed me that I do not have a membership with them anymore. I never asked to cancel or signed anything. I did nothing except ask about the cancellation process. How can they just cancel my membership without my consent or at the very least, without informing me? I lost all the packages I had, so this entire process has been an entire waste of money. The front desk/customer service is so painful that it’s not worth sticking around for.

I have been a customer for three years and even paid for my membership during Covid when they were closed to help support small business. My credit card had fraud and it didn’t go through, I gave the manager my new credit card and they charged it for THREE months. I talked to manager about maybe cancelling and she said she would send me a form to fill out. She took it upon herself to cancel my membership without the form filled out and I lost 2 credits on my account. Called the new manager and tried to work it out, but they won’t do anything to help. I lost over $200 and they lost a customer.

When I first started my membership every thing was fine I had great therapist. Then it started to go downhill. My therapist left and I tried three locations several therapists with not much luck. I tried to cancel my membership and they messed that up. I was charged twice after requesting a cancellation I signed the paperwork a month in advance. I have tried to call and get refunded multiple times with no luck. I was just going to go ahead and use the credit but now the second therapist has left. Obviously this is not the place to work or go to receive quality services. And I’m still out my $80…

Good customer service, professional and focused on customer. Nice facility, nothing to fancy but nicely done and supper clean. I wouldn’t pay for the aromatherapy for the dollars charged but I will be back.

Phenomenal service! I ended up at this location due to a mistake from another location but Samantha was super quick to reassure me and helped to take care of the issue (including my distress for now “running late” because the other Hand and Stone booked me at the wrong location). I really enjoyed the massage and the helpful team.

I just recently got a dermalinfusion facial with Nicole and it was amazing! Honestly my skin looks so much better. After my facial she recommend me products to use and I really appreciate her being honest with what my skin needed and how knowledgeable she is. Overall my first experience here was really great and I will be definitely be coming back to see her. Also … The front desk people are so sweet!

Great facilities, friendly front desk staff, and fantastic service from Nikol, who is very skilled and knowledgeable. She not only listened to my concerns, but was also able to figure out problem areas while she worked. She’s now my go-to therapist.

Good location but I didn’t like the service for what I paid. I was expecting a relaxing time with my facial but the person who did my facial talked too much. Facial massage was poor. She asked if I wanted an extra massage like in my hands or scalp, I asked her for a scalp massage which also was poor. That extra massage was during the time that a face mask was settle down, about 5 minutes scalp massage. At the end when I paid for my facial bill, they charged me an extra for the 5 minutes scalp massage that was offered to me which I though was part of the service. Usually for facial I go to Dermavita in down town Kirkland, they offer full service, cleaning, mask, good face and shoulders massage, microdermabration and a gentle peeling mask. All for the same price. Hand and Stone charged all this services for separately and even that the service was nothing special for 100 dollars that I paid including tip.
