Booked massages & facials for my myself, my sister, and my mom in December for late January. H&S sent me about 7 million texts confirming our appointment only to call me the morning of the services to tell me they had canceled my mom’s massage because her therapist was sick. No attempt to reschedule or find a solution just a flat, “We won’t charge you.” What? But you canceled on me!? Ended up going with my sister anyway without my mom. The “first time price” was a bait and switch. You only get that price if you purchase a membership, plus the therapists pressure & upsell you during services. $600 later I walked out with my hair dripping with about a quart of peppermint oil that the lady dumped all over my head (for a scalp massage?) and my eyes burning. Stressed me out more than relaxed me. They are awful. Totally ruined what was supposed to be a fun mother/daughter spa day.

I had my first facial ever this morning and i enjoyed every minute of it ! The lady at the front desk was so sweet and the esthetician Rachael who did my facial was amazing!! she made me feel so comfortable, she was gentle, and has great communication skills. she explained all of my options and answered any and every question i had!! I loved it so much i made another appointment!

THE ANGELAS!! Every since I started going here and seeing Angela Z for my facials, my skin has been incredibly improved. She is attentive, knows what my skin needs most, and always consistent. Angela R is who I have been seeing for my massage appointments and she is so sweet, great with any problem areas that I mention, and gives solid pressure. I cannot recommend these two enough for anyone who is looking. I have gotten massages and facials at plenty of other spas (even other hand and stone locations) and I go out of my way to see these two. Always worth it

I went into the facility expecting a regular experience but Tenazia blew my mind. Her hands are gifted , her touch is so soft , and she implements different techniques in her work. You can tell she was taught well wherever she learned. She does her job with passion and knows your skins needs. Mind you I rarely do positive reviews, but she really blew my mind. It was definitely more than a facial and I was so relaxed. Thank you again T!

My experiences at this location vary. I’ve had unpleasant experiences with the front desk staff at times not greeting me or offering the restroom before my service, yet they greeted and offered the restroom to customers after me. It doesn’t happen often but it has happened, which I feel is rude. I’ve been a member for quite some time and I’m skeptical about new people but I will try them atleast once and if I don’t like them, I won’t book with them again. This most recent experience, I received a massage, which was great. I believe the therapist’s name was Jenn. She was pleasant, on time and accommodated my needs. On the other hand, the Esthetician who performed my back facial took 15 minutes to start the service and only did a double cleanse and double exfoliation. She didn’t once use a steamer or do any extractions if necessary. I believe her name was Tanaja. I will never book with her again.

Let me first give credit where credit is due. Crytal’s massage was good and she was very helpful in helping me plan a nice little surprise for my husband. I truly, truly appreciated that. Now for where it went downhill. Let’s start with the front desk. The complains about the front desk is true. An individual with short black hair (shoulder length), speaks in a matter of fact tone and unfriendly to the max needs retraining. RUDE tone. Also, the facial was just well, rushed and more importantly, the site says masks are required…covid cases are high at time of this post so why isn’t staff wearing mask and all up in your face during a facial?! Also, I waited a while for facial specialist to come in room. Overall, been with Hand and Stone for a while (PA) and the staff is so, so friendly. This site needs an overhaul with staff training regarding customer service..there’s a reason why openings are easy to get. Management, needs to step up. And don’t leave that silly cut and paste response to call…what the staff who needs retraining gonna do anyway?!?!

I was a monthly member here until the last two trips I became sick in the days following my massage. I decided to cancel after that. Maybe I’ll go back at some point, idk yet. Another interesting occurrence is that there was a young lady in the lobby talking about performing on stage as if she was a celebrity, but I didn’t recognize her…weird.

Was gifted an Intro Himalayan Salt, Stone massage with a foot treatment for Mother’s Day; I show up to the appointment and get just the basic massage. When gifted the massage by my husband I was told to show up to my 11am appointment. I get there, get a simple massage and I will admit it was relaxing. However, when asked by my husband how the stones and foot treatment were, I was confused because I didn’t get any of that. So I called and was told “oh we didn’t know” but that they saw it WAS booked by my husband WITH the stones and foot treatment. How does that make sense?? How do you charge for services you aren’t going to provide?? There was no apology either, simply a “you’ve been refunded for the stone addition.” It’s a shame because I did enjoy the massage, just wasn’t the massage that was paid for.
