My experience with this salon was great! The staff are pleasant and professional. Patricia did box braids on me that look amazing! She never took a break even though I suggested she eat her lunch! I would have given 5 stars; however, when it was time to pay I was told the credit card machine was not working. I am finding that this is a trend especially on Sundays, so I had to use the ATM next door which charges a fee. My suggestion would be that the business establish a cash only policy on Sunday’s so clients are aware before appointments. I will absolutely go there in the future! I highly recommend the salon!

I will say the ladies of this salon do excellent hair and ensure not to braid too tight. However, I was very upset on the way they run their buisness! I had a 7:30am appointment and they did not start my hair until 8:45am. In addition to that, somone missed a 5:30am appointment and showed up 3 hrs late but they took her before me. I thought that was very unproffesional of the stylist and they should’ve asked her to wait until after the people who made their appointments on time.

Went here last Friday to ask about pricing and styling. I planned to get Sengalese twists to the middle of my back. I was quoted a price of $200 and given a flyer for $20 off. I called later and made an “appointment” for a week later (today). I was told I could make the time so I opted for 8am. I say appointment in quotes because I was never asked my name or info. I called yesterday to confirm my own appointment and was assured someone would be there to do my hair. I get there this morning there is one customer and one braider. They were unaware of my “appointment” and I saw her attempt to make calls for someone to come in. She finally got in touch with someone and said they were on their way in. 45 minutes later, no one arrived. Never once did the stylist there, i think she is the owner, apologize, ask if I was okay, or call the person back. I walked out. This is why I havent dealt with these braiding shops in years. They just confirmed to continue to do so.

Service was terrible. Did not know that they had 2 locations and went to the wrong one because the other one isnt listed online. I received crochets and they were terrible. They were put in wrong and she messed up the hair. The hair dresser mumbled to herself the entire time. Oh yes and BTW, I speak fluent french…… I can understand EVERYTHING…. To make matters worse, the hair dresser asked me for a ride home afterwards. Who does that!!!!????

I told my stylist 10 braids in that she was braiding too tight. She did adjust her braiding technique for about an hour. However, after the hour was up, she continued to braid extremely tight especially around my edges. I will not go back to be tortured.

First the braider was late. She told me 10am and was not there. Someone had to call her. Then after she was done she charged me 40 dollars for two cornrolls, which is normally 15 if they are long. No one asked me what length I wanted, she made it extra long on purpose. Then they always say the credit card machine don’t work and want you to go next door to use the ATM. If you say no, they will use the cc machine and charge you 2 dollars. Really. I am not pleased with my two 20 dollar cornrolls. Looks like I did them myself. I won’t be going back.

Came to my 9am appointment just to be told to go somewhere else because the braider didn’t want to do the style that I was asking for. It was a basic style that’s even posted in the shop. I will not ever waste my time going there again
