I had a membership with them and did not go because of Covid and I the free services can roll over. After accumulating 7 free services I was advised to cancel my membership and use up these first. Usually they only give 90 days to use up services but because of the circumstances I was told not to worry. well when I tried to schedule a massage I was told my free services had expired. However if I joined again they would give me back my previous free ones I had. This is such a scam and just want to take peoples money. I am so disappointed that this is how businesses make their money.

I had a LOVELY facial by Samantha in the evening. She was so easy to talk to, and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable with having no experience with getting facials. Very gentle, and informative. My skin has felt great for 5 days post facial!

Had a massage and a facial at this location and was not at all happy with the results. The massage was painful and not at all relaxing and am still sore from it. The facial was ok but also a little painful. The extractions hurt a lot and the esthetician had a bad bed side manner, she was abrupt and unhappy. I have been to other locations and have had awesome experiences but not here.

Overall negative experience primarily with the management team both Holly assistant manager & Kayla manager of this location were unprofessional, rude & disrespectful. I have never received such terrible customer service in general until dealing with this company. I had received a giftcard for a prenatal massage as a gift and was r/s twice at a different location so I didn’t want to use the gc there in hopes this wouldn’t happen again (I have been waiting since December & was comp’d for my inconvenience). I scheduled back in March at Happy Valley for a prenatal massage and was called on the 17th to yet again reschedule that appt as well. R/s’d for April 6th & I was a bit frustrated so I just asked if in the meantime a manager could give me a call so we can work something out. 3 weeks later still no call so I called back to check & they told me asst manager was on vacation for 2 weeks (not sure why Manager couldn’t call at that point) and would give her the message. Fast forward to the day before my appt front desk calls to ask if I can r/s yet again for a different time Instead of date this time as massuese had a personal matter to attend to rather than keep my scheduled time. I mentioned I still did not receive a call from manager and will not confirm my appt until I speak with someone. I received a call & message same day threatening me that if I don’t show up they will charge me 50% and acted like i was demanding a free massage for my inconvenience. I do not see an issue asking and if she was kind and professional we could have worked out an upgrade. I will mention I am 32 weeks pregnant and cannot have all of the upgrades as certain senses and massges are not recommended during pregnancy, also I have a toddler to make arrangements for, live 45 min away & at that point stressed out & didn’t even want to go there anymore. When my husband called to speak with Holly she was rude & unprofessional and when asked if manager is available it got worse from there. The manager, Kayla, was disrespectful and basically called us all liars as she didn’t see that I had been r/s multiple times in her system and that no location would comp us for services ever. Also she stated she will be seeing the manager of the other location that night and will discuss this issue. I made arrangements to come at a time that was convenient for them & did not receive an apology for any of it. In fact Manager didn’t even speak to me even though she was there and did not make sure that I received an upgrade of any sort. Please don’t use this location if you can help it. I can easily say I will never be back there or any Hand & Stone location ever.

Purchased a gift card for my sister online for spa package. Surprisingly enough, they sent her the gift card email with price tag and all. What a horrible way to give a gift with a price tag still attached. This is a big disappointment being it’s usually self explanatory when gift giving. Hopefully the massage my sister receives would improve my review but definitely started off on the wrong side with this oversight. Hopefully your company will consider this for the future to improve your gift card service, because I will think again about purchasing as gift in the future if this is not corrected.

After a brief, private consultation and examination of my skin, Amber agreed I would be a great candidate for Microderm and LED light treatments, and was able to suggest other products (serums, primers, etc.) and ingredients I could try for my skin concerns. I felt completely pampered with a custom, relaxing treatment and never once felt pressured to add on another package or purchase something. Since that first visit, my skin looks and feels younger, clearer and certainly more hydrated, and after two decades of dermatology visits, I *finally* feel like I understand my unique skin needs and what ingredients and products are truly right for me. Terrible terrible customer service. When booking an appointment for my mother and her friend I was never told there would be a charge on my credit card for 50% of the service. My mother actually got a call from one of the workers which she had told she couldn’t make it and will like to reschedule. They still went ahead and charged me $89.50 and won’t refund me back after I called to clear this up the manger was super rude and lied about saying she told me there would be a charge. They are a total scam. I would not recommend this place.
