I came to Hand and Stone today for a massage and facial as a birthday treat. I had such a wonderful experience and service. My therapist was Vernon and he was a delight! Professional to the end and such a good listener! My Esthetician was Olivia and she gave such great advice for my skin care problem and also great communication as well. Those two gave me such a wonderful experience that I signed up for a membership and will be returning! Thank you again!

Worst experience!! They say you truly know how good the vendor is when you part ways. When you cancel membership you see their true colors. I was a member for an year and canceled my monthly membership. Apparently, I get 90 days to use my 2 unused credits. When I asked for appointments, they gave the second one 2 days outside that 90 day period and then charged me for that appointment. I said this is ridiculous and asked to talk to someone, they threatened they would call police on me. Just ridiculous. I hate this place now.

My friend recommended I try this spa and I was reluctant because I had a membership for years at another massage place. I have found an amazing therapist who has helped me with my neck and back issues. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I’m glad I found this spa!

Have been a member for a year now. On my last visit in Oct I was notified I could only book out 2 appts for a specific highly requested therapist, therefore I booked 2 appts but could not get in for 3 months – Jan 2023. I go to massage for medical reasons so going months without one can cause me lots of back/neck pain so I went ahead and booked appts for a different therapist for the month of Dec to try which was the soonest they had. I was called today and advised I was not allowed more than 2 appts period with any female therapist. I had to cancel all of my appts but 2, so I canceled my other appts along with my membership. I would not have had an issue if they told me moving forward I could only do 2 appts for all female therapist but to call and cancel my already booked appts that they scheduled for me at the same time at my last appt. is ridiculous and very poor customer service and management.

I had a terrible experience at this location. I received a Hand and Stone Swedish massage as a gift from a friend. I called the Southlake location to book my appointment and told them about the gift card. They ran the number and said it looks like you have enough to cover the Swedish massage in full then they booked the appointment. I arrived for my appointment and presented the card at check in and said I’d like to use this today for my massage and they said okay. After my massage, they proceeded to tell me that I could not use the gift card at their location and that I owed them $80. I said I wasn’t going to pay for the massage because they said I could use the gift card and they had several opportunities to tell me they wouldn’t accept it before the services were rendered. For ten minutes they continued to insist that I had to pay for the massage. I realized they were not going to do the ethical thing, and said I refused to pay for the massage, left a cash tip and the gift card then walked out. It is ridiculous they expect me to pay for a massage they said would be taken care of with my gift card. That’s not how business works. You don’t make customers pay for your company’s mistakes. Perhaps you should train your employees better if certain cards cannot be used at certain locations. Because they had my credit card on file I had to immediately lock it and call my bank so they wouldn’t try to charge me for the massage. Now I’m having to delete that card and order a new one and waste time updating all the accounts I had the old card saved on. Instead of walking away from my massage feeling relaxed, I walked away feeling very frustrated and stressed. What a waste of my time and my money. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Go to Massage Elements in Southlake. They provide way better services and support.

I’ve been a longtime member, but this was my first time at the Southlake location. Justin provided a very good massage, asking what kind of pressure I preferred, what areas were of importance, etc. Appreciated the customer service at the reception area as well. Was very pleased with my experience, not feeling pressured into upgrades, etc. Look forward to visiting this location again.

I really wanted to have a nice relaxing massage, one that would make me forget the stress I would be getting back to once I walked out the door. Note that I received this massage as a Christmas present so I am not a “member”. When I showed up they offered no “extras” (i.e.: hot stones.. oils.. etc…), but I thought no worries I’ll just get the massage… they walked me to the back.. and the ambience was nice.. but the massage itself was par… nothing to make me want to go back and get another one and nothing that would invite me to be a member… (I got a pedicure the next day and asked her if she does full body messages as that 10 minutes was better then the 50 minutes I received and I got the hot stones and the paraffin dip to go along with it)… I went to the counter to check out – make sure they didn’t need anything else and they just said your fine… bye…. What a way to make me want to come back!
