Horrible customer service. Actual massage therapists have all been good, but good luck getting past the front desk. They will put you on a forever hold, and pretend they can’t find your gift card. The manager will NOT call you back. They cancel 50% of the time and then try and blame you and take you “member services” and say your the one who didn’t show. Don’t buy a gift card here. It’s way more expensive to purchase a GC than to buy the individual services.

I had heard good things about this location and was excited to have a massage after several years of not being able to get one. I did not need anything fancy, just asked for a basic Swedish all over massage. Unfortunately, the masseuse took it upon himself to decide whether I needed legs or glutes. When my hour was up, I questioned my masseuse about my understanding of what a Swedish massage entailed, and when I asked why he did not do my lower body he said it was his philosophy to only due legs and glutes if he asked. Uh, I was right there! No time like the present to ask. I kept waiting that he was going to get to my legs and but then he was done, and I didn’t even get an opportunity to question it. So NOTE to self ALWAYS make sure you are crystal clear that you are getting what you pay for. I still had to pay for my massage. For what I got, I could have had this sitting at home from my husband.

I wanted to buy a gift card for my girlfriend and went t location in Carol Stream. I called first and ask how much would be an 1 hr gift card, and was told 69,95. Upon arrival I was told the gift card would be 119,95, because I am not a member, they wouldn’t accept a coupon for 69,95 which they have sent me in an email and currently have on their website.! went to massage envy and purchased a gift card for 75$ for 1 hr massage or facials w no problem. They have lost 2 customers my girlfriend and myself. I’m a member of massage Envy for years and was thinking about switching to you, but after the way I was treated I am staying w massage envy. I spent my own time just to learn they won’t accept their own advertisement.

I am so frustrated that it has come to this point. On 7/29/22 I had an appointment for hair removal, facial, and 80-minute massage with a bunch of enhancements. This was my birthday present to myself. During the hair removal which was the first service, I asked multiple times that hard wax no longer be used during the appointment because it was too painful. The hard wax was not being removed correctly and was far too painful to bear. The hard wax continued to get stuck to my skin each time. I asked the esthetician to stop the service unfinished and each time she would continue a little more at a time stating she was doing a little clean-up or had a little wax to remove. Each time she did clean-up she would use the hard wax AGAIN, and AGAIN I would ask that she not use it anymore. The hard wax continued the get stuck and she was unable to remove it without extreme pain. This should have been a sign for her to stop, and the fact that I told her multiple times to stop. About 3/4ths away from being completed I finally got the esthetician to stop the service. I was advised that I had slight bleeding. Upon further examination, the bleeding was not from the frolics as I expected it to be. The bleeding was from a tear on my skin that was approximately 1/4″ in length.
