I had a fantastic facial with Celia. The facial massage was the absolute highlight. She was professional and personable and made me feel very comfortable. She gave me tips and tricks for my skincare routine which I appreciated. I will definitely book with her again and bring my pre-teen daughter with me as well! Was a member for many years and was very disillusioned with the cancellations that kept occurring. There’s no process to get you another therapist or in quicker when cancellation occurs. I love my massages I had a great therapist there, but would be heartbroken every time I got the call to tell me my appointment was canceled. it happened a lot.

Originally why I wanted to cancel my membership was due to an experience my mother had after I recommended HandandStone to her for her birthday. The woman that was performing her facial was not able to do one of the things that came with the facial so she asked my mother if she would be willing to pay an additional $40 for an additional add on in which my mother agreed to. After the service was completed the bill was outrageous and cost about $300 as the woman doing the service did not mention adding on additional expenses after that first add on. Both my mother and I felt that she got scammed out of her money, so I decided to stop giving my money to this business and go elsewhere. Now I’m having issues with canceling my membership due to a lack of communication again by employees at this location that has costed me $180 so my outlook is reemphasized as this location is a scam.

Everyone was friendly and nice, but my massage was 15 min shorter than 90 (that’s what I paid for). Also no showers? Your a spa!! Showers would be very nice. I mean your all oiled up and then you have to put your clothes on, come on. Even a shower before would be appreciated by your massage therapists.

The experience is always nice when it happens. I recently started going to the Greenfield location as it was closer to home than others, but have had much more inconsistency with being able to see anyone. Almost every other appointment, there has been a last minute call to say the therapist is not in and no appointments are available until my next scheduled, or that they no longer work there. Whether it is a need for corporate responsibility (adequately paying their professionals), healthy workplace concerns, or something else, it is obvious that there is a concern that needs to be addressed for retention and happy healthy workers.

Their facials are usually enjoyable but the massages are very hit or miss. The two stars was more in relation to the dissatisfaction with customer service and how I was treated; even after speaking with management, it seemed as if they were more concerned with being right then my feelings or my experience.
