Had a decent facial last month. Set another appointment for this month. I do not have a membership with H&S yet my card was charged for an appointment I canceled. I also spoke with Morgan this morning, terrible disposition, condescending tone, not representative of my idea of wellness and relaxation. Morgan stated she will have a manager call me tomorrow to discuss the cancellation fee. I never received documentation regarding the cancellation policy when second appointment was made nor did I sign anything giving permission to store my credit card past the first appointment.

My massage therapist Courtney was fabulous. She was friendly and customer focused. She gave attention to my areas of concern and I was fully relaxed when I left. My reason for giving a 3 star rating is because of how I was treated when I called to schedule my appointment. I explained that I received a gift card and had never been there before. The receptionist asked me for a credit card in case I cancel or miss my appointment. I told her I could give the numbers on my gift card. She said no and insisted I give a credit card number or I couldn’t move forward with scheduling my appointment. I ended up giving her my credit card information and let her know I felt like she displayed poor customer service.

Critical: CommunicationI signed up for a one hour massage and added on a peppermint scalp massage. I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment. I also filled out all intake/consent forms online prior to my arrival. I understand the policy is that a one hour massage “includes a consultation”. I was asked the same 3 questions that were asked of me on my online intake form. No additional information was taken during my “consult”. This consult lasted an entire 30 seconds. I was not taken back to my appointment until 105pm and asked if I would like to concentrate on certain areas due to the appointment being a “late start”. I thought this was an odd comment as I arrived 15 minutes early and I was not late. My therapist told me he gave me an additional 5 minutes because he had to leave the room to get the peppermint oil which took additional time away from my massage. My one hour massage with an additional $15 add on scalp massage was done before 2pm. I do not understand how this is possible based on time alone, the fact the massage started late due to the staff and I added on an additional massage option which in my opinion should not take away time from the one hour massage. We have a monthly membership and drive from Greenwood to Castleton to get massages. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing, the staff is friendly, the massage therapists want to focus on your problem areas. They genuinely listen and change the pressure they’re applying if you say something.
