The environment is so warm and welcoming. Each of the staff is so well trained and experienced. They really suggest and do what’s best for you! Awesome products! Everyone was very calm and friendly! The massage was super relaxing and they make you feel super comfortable. The membership is also great because you don’t have to sign a contract and you just pay for a discounted massage or facial each month, which roll over if you don’t use them for a couple months. Definitely recommend!

I moved to Indy and have Been coming here for a few months now for massage and facials and I have been amazed with the variety of services they offer, especially for facials. I used to go to a med spa. I just tried the cryo therapy and loving the results so far. Front desk is very helpful and accommodating, didn’t know I could use points for services. Clean, professional and reasonably priced. I usually can get in same day which is nice with my schedule and they do a good job matching me with massage therapists

My husband booked me an appointment as a Christmas present and I was so excited because I had been having back pain. We recently moved and the massage therapist I was going to before is about 40min away so I was excited to try out a new place. It was busy when I got there so I expected it to be fantastic, but unfortunately it was not. My appointment was at 4 and I wasn’t taken back until 4:10. The therapist sat for most of my massage. I had let her know my lower back was causing me issue and she said she would spend more time on it but barely touched it. She actually kept the blanket over most of my back and rubbed over the blanket so it felt like I was getting a rug burn. I paid extra for a scalp massage and hand massage and I did get a scalp massage but the hand massage was nothing. It was like she rubbed lotion on my hand once and then put hot towels over them and my session was over by 4:50. I was dressed and out the door before 5, so my one hour massage was much less than hour.

I booked a facial for myself and massage for my son. The facial was supposed to be 1 hr as advertised but this therapist Betsy who was nice to talk to but did not do a good job with facial at all. My appointment was at 4 pm and i was ushered in at 4:10 , my facial was done at 4:50 pm lasted less than 35 min . I asked for steam and therapist said they don’t do steam anymore. Just rubbed some cream and mask that was it. When i asked owner about the steam she said they have it perhaps therapist didn’t know … how odd ….Very disappointed. I drove 70 miles from Bloomington just to get this facial and massage.

I have been using this facility for over a year. It has always been clean and well staffed. Treatment rooms are very relaxing. Almost all therapists have done a very good job. Easy to change if you do not like the therapist you had. Front desk staff can be helpful, but do try to upsell. Services are competitively priced.

Front desk staff all great but our 50 minute massage appointment was for 3pm the massage started at 312 then ended at 352. I told the massage therapist we should still have 10 minutes left and she told us they needed to flip the room for the next guests. The massage itself was great but they took away 20% of my time. I told the front desk staff and they were very apologetic but only discounted $20. Needless to say there are many other places around with similar services and better customer service.

I found Hand n Stone massage when looking for a reasonably priced monthly massage company. Pricing is better than Massage Envy and membership wasn’t pushed on me after the first visit, I had to ask! Very happy with the cleanliness and professionalism of staff! I look forward to my monthly massages!!

Terrible business practices and customer service, and would recommend that consumers try any of the other massage/facial spa options in the area before even considering H&S. They nickel and dime you on everything and on multiple occasions, my appointments were canceled day of (in one instance, when I had already arrived at the spa), including the most recent time last month when I had planned to redeem reward points that I had accumulated (and which they tout as such a “wonderful” perk to the use of their services). When I called to reschedule that appointment, they told me that all of my points had expired and they were unwilling to honor the service (despite the fact that they cancelled my original appointment during which my points were still valid). The only reason I maintained my membership for as long as I did was the wonderful therapist that I had found there. She is now gone, so I have no reason to stay. Writing this review to hopefully save others the time and money that I have wasted at the expense of Hand & Stone over the last few months.

I had a Swedish massage with Amber. I have been at this location about 10 times, but this was my first experience with Amber. I was very pleased. She was very kind, asked if the pressure was fine, asked which area I wanted her to concentrate on. She used hot stones on my upper body. It was a very relaxing massage. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend Amber.
