I choose hand and stone over massage envy. However, I’ve called at different times and multiple times and front desk doesn’t answer. There’s always two people at the front when I go so not sure why this is. Also, they used to have coconut water up front, I looked forward to this before and after my massage. But the last visit I was there they didn’t have. I’m pretty disappointed about this. It’s one of the things that sets HS apart. Starr is really good at deep tissue massage. Her pressure was on point! And the hours are versatile. But with some of the recent changes I am not sure I’ll continue coming here without gift card for the prices.. wish I could give 3.5 star not 4

I’ve been going to hand and stone for over a year now getting facials and massages. They have been the best. I dont always get the same person every time I go but everyone I have seen so far has always been polite, very nice and professional. Definitely recommend.

I did a Himalayan salt massage with Michiko last night and she was so amazing. I prefer firm and she did a wonderful job and really worked on the discussed areas that really bother me during work. I highly recommend Ms. michiko!!

I believed my mom loved the place, but when COVID-19 came in March 2020 whenever all appointments got canceled for some reason. They haven’t contacted her and stuff in almost 3 years so she will never use it again.

I am a member at the Fleming Island hand stone location. I have never had any issues as far as a therapist canceling 15 minutes during the session. I have it noted in my chart that I get firm pressure and I don’t know if I offended her by telling her that. Funny thing is when I told her that the pressure that she was applying was a good pressure she continued to massage for five minutes and then randomly said give me one minute so I waited for six minutes and then another person came in and told me that they weren’t able to finish my massage after I already have all these lotion and oil all over me and I took off work early just to make this appointment time. To be honest it seemed as if the only reason that she’s Didn’t do my massages because I want mine right like I get it every month because I don’t wanna lay there and get a massage and it not be providing any relief. I was very professional I said yes ma’am in response to everything that I spoke to her about I told her how I would like her to apply pressure to my back. So when I get to the front desk i’m telling the front desk that I understand if there was a medical issue and that she was not able to finish a massage but if that was not the case if she could tell me if there was something that I did wrong and they won’t tell me anything. So unfortunately I’m canceling my membership because I think it’s really unprofessional and also inconvenient for the patients to not even be able to be given a valid reason on why their appointment was canceled during the massage my family has been coming here for years very disappointing. But if you do decide to come here Tara is the best they have. She is also the most professional massage therapist that they have and she’s the most experienced in my opinion because I’ve had it a lot of massages.

Never have I ever had a manager VENT to me about her problems…. Either corporate needs to find new employees or take the load off this lady because… wow. I paid for a full 60 minute massage with a peppermint scalp massage and aromatherapy. They had a new masseuse working and massaged me for about 15 minutes…. I’ve been there for months now so I know how they operate. Never had a bad experience until then. I paid EXTRA for the add one and didn’t get either. I requested a call back 4 days in a row so I can let her know what was going on, she then explained that they can’t refund the massage because it’s through cooperate and no one has access to do that, but could refund my add ons. I explained to her very calmly that it made me disappointed because I had a co worker pass away that day and this was the cherry on top of a terrible day. She hung up on me and when I called back in, she claimed the call dropped. No empathy, no consideration. I got off the line and just cried because the world just doesn’t care anymore about others. She then started venting to me on the phone and talking 100 miles an hour talking about how she’s the only manager there and has a million things to do and not enough time to do it, which was just sad, but also unprofessional. I cancelled my membership after being there for many months and I really hope the chain can do something.
