This place is wonderful. The receptionist are very friendly, positive, and relaxed. The place is spotless and peaceful. Dr. Dee is wonderful. She listened to the issues I was having, gave some advice on how to treat it and focused on the areas I requested. She adjusted the pressure as needed. I went in not having full range of my left arm and by the time I left, I had full range of motion in that arm again and the extremely sharp pain I had before the appointment only feels like a stiff muscle now. It was such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be going back soon.

I recently enjoyed my first massage with Hand & Stone. The reception staff were very friendly and informative. My massage therapist Tina was AMAZING! She asked a lot of probing questions to see what preferences and concerns I had. I appreciated the fact that she wanted to ensure my experience was enjoyable. I will definitely be returning for future appointments and definitely recommend this location.

I really enjoyed my massage with Carolyn. However,ml my experience over the phone has been difficult twice. I called to make another appointment today and was made to feel like I’m an inconvenience for calling. It was like pulling teeth to find out when Carolyn’s next available was. I had to be very direct and ask specific questions. The receptionist has been the same attitude both times I spoke with her to make appointments. Seems to me they would take more care in creating a well rounded experience for the customer from top to bottom. I shouldnt feel stressed out when making an appointment. Other than this, it was wonderful.

An effervescent spring of troubling experiences at this location that, at this point, is really my fault for giving them another chance. I have been to probably a dozen spa locations over the years, with many many massages. This is the worst location for several years running. To be fair, I should give myself one star for choosing it.

My husband scheduled appointments online and we both took a day off from work to spend together/get massages.

This is the WORST SPA in Southpark!!! Their idea of customer service is to punish the customer by removing credits, unbelievable! I had a bad experience with one of their facial specialists this past Monday (Hykia), who proceeded to chastise me about not totally agreeing with the recommendations of the other facial specialist (Alexis) I had gone to about a month ago. Customer Service 101 is that you don’t say anything about a customer’s experience with another colleague…very basic, you don’t get involved. Both of them are unprofessional and spend the entire time trying to upsell you on products and services. I, of course, asked to speak to the Manager. The Spa Manager, McKenzie Harrison, called back yesterday and basically defended her employees, saying that they are supposed to upsell and they don’t agree with just getting a Classic Facial. When I told her she clearly didn’t get customer service, she then became punitive and took away 1 of my 2 remaining credits. Clearly I should’ve researched this company before joining as a member. This is the reason why they have a 67% approval rating via Trip Advisor and Facebook.

I have been trying to cancel my membership for 8 days. Hand and Stone has an intentionally deceptive and convoluted system for cancellation. I asked 8 days ago to cancel when I was in the office. The front desk staff said they can’t cancel memberships but that someone would call to do so. 8 days later, no calls and I have been billed yet again.

This is my 2nd review. I posted a week ago about not being able to reach anyone to cancel my subscription. I spoke to the manager today and she stated I may or may not receive a call back today from the guest services person. I’m so over this place and their process. I will be calling corporate today and make a formal compliant.

I had an incredible experience with my massage therapist Marissa. She paid attention to my concerns and concentrated on the problem areas and put my body at ease. I highly recommend the location and the staff was so polite.

Wish I could give 0 stars! I’ve been a customer at Hand & Stone for over 10 years. Even once was an employee (not at this particular branch). I’ve never had an issue at any place that I chose to spend my hard earned money but this particular place. I guess because I’m black and I speak up for myself I’m “pulling a stunt” of some sort. They took money out of my account unknowingly for my husband’s membership. (He had his own separate membership) I did not sign or agree to be charged for his membership at all. He has a medical condition that did not allow for him to receive massages. He paid for months and did not come once! (This was no issue to them because they were getting paid). He lost his credit card and for got to update it with them and they started charging a card that I used once for gratuity. (Saved without my permission) I tried on different occasions to rectify this even by asking them to put credits on a gift card to be used at a later date. I decided to use them up since I paid for them. (At this point I didn’t make a big deal out of being charged for his membership just wanted to freeze it) they told me this wouldn’t be an issue. I even came in the month prior and the month before for services using these credits and unused gift cards. This month I come in for my services and I’m being charged full price (even though I have unused prepaid credits) I’m being told they expired when I decided to cancel. That’s a complete rip off and this is why I asked if balance for paid services could’ve went on a gift card, which I’ve had done before at other locations. The “manager” McKenzie, is so unprofessional and should not be in any position of power, ever. She was very rude and I’d never been spoken to in such a condescending manor in my life. I’ve also never been disrespected by someone who was supposedly in charge before the way I was disrespected by McKenzie from the South Park location. I’ve asked several times to freeze my husbands account because he has a medical condition which prohibited him from receiving massages. All in which was agreed to. They’d been charging him with no problem for months but as soon as I want to freeze it now there’s this huge issue of us losing the credits for services already paid for. Sounds to me like they’re stealing and misappropriating funds. We’ve paid for services that were never rendered buyers please beware. If you cancel they will do any and everything not to give you services that you already paid for and then speak about your finances. (as if I don’t make more money than your highest paid employee there) she tried to create a narrative like I was trying to bail on services but I’ve always paid, clearly since I was being charged for services not rendered and always tipped the recommended tip amount and even more at times. I truly believe that these people have a racists and prejudice mentality as I do not think she would’ve ever tried to mention a white woman’s finances in this conversation because money is not the issue here it’s principal. Just do good business and treat your customers with respect. Both in which they failed miserably at. I will be contacting the corporate offices and filing a complaint with my bank and BBB.
